What a beautiful place. Stunning gardens & simply perfect Wedding Venue. Our daughter's Wedding Party was held there on Friday 6th August. Marquees were perfect & such lovely touches arranged by Jayne who worked tirelessly throughout the day. Made everything so very smooth so a big thank you to her & all the staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone even if to visit for the afternoon. The brewery is a brilliant to visit with so much local history & information when they fully open up again after Covid. Lots of work going to be going on for a new memorial garden which will be beautiful. A little piece of heaven 💗💗💗

Went to the Christmas open day and did the brewery tour. Amazing place loads of history a dedicated tour guide and a cute cat! Free beer after too. 100% you need to go

The brewery tours are interesting as it has old-fashioned copper vessels and makes beers from wild yeasts. The shop/restaurant is friendly and relaxed and provide light refreshments and a range of beers. The gardens are a hidden gem. They extend behind the brewery over a large area, are very well tended and contain a multitude of different plants most of which are helpfully named. It's worth a visit for the gardens alone but check the brewery website for opening times.The staff are always friendly and helpful. An under-appreciated gem in Wisbech.

Surprising but good find in Wisbech.
A family run brewery steeped in history. Yes you can purchase their beers too :)
But it has a delightful cafe set into their amazing private gardens adjoining the brewery. Tranquil, interesting and varied.

Had a wonderful visit to Elgood's Brewery, the tour was interesting, the beer was good but the team there are truly great. They took the time and trouble to talk to us, showed us lots of interesting things and were so informative about the brewery and the town's history. They made it a very personal visit and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

We were part of a Cambridge garden club outing. Elgood's is a long established family brewery. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided a very interesting tour. The gardens are well kept and pleasant to walk around. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the ginger cake in the cafe is the most scrumptious I have ever tasted. Would definitely recommend.

What a lovely place to spend a few hours. We visited yesterday and were pleasantly surprised by both the gardens and the knowledge of the staff. From entering the building there is a multitude of information and photos of a bygone era. The lady at the desk was pleasant and provided us with map and leaflet. She explained that her colleague Jane could provide further information after our look around the gardens. After a very enjoyable stroll around the gardens which include a lake and specimen trees we returned to the tea rooms for much needed refreshments. We met Jane who explained in great detail some of the history of previous and present owners and the brewing process. She then accompanied us to the small museum where there are numerous items from the brewing industry along with old ledgers dating from the 1800's. A place well worth a visit and one highly reccommended.

It was a lovely peaceful afternoon in the gardens.
We had tea and cake and my husband had a glass of Black Dog.

Friendly staff, delightful gardens and a very good price. There is a place for coffee, but food is limited to cake/scones variety, no sandwiches. There is plenty of parking space.

We came here today
The gardens are lovely and interesting trees and flowers a very interesting and restful few hours
What let’s here down is the cafe it’s poor . We got there at 1.15 hoping for something to eat , sausage rolls but if we wanted them it was a 25 min wait , no sandwiches , a few very poor cakes and a grumpy guy behind the counter saying “ that’s your lot “
