I enjoyed visiting the church. A little upset by drinkers and their empty cans around them in the park opposite. They weren't troublesome but just not good for the ambience

An attractive church, handy for Wisbech's Georgian buildings, the Victorian museum and the market place, hub of the town. Apparently, this is the only church in England with a singe roof over two naves. Lovingly maintained. An atmospheric retreat.

The people at St Peter's are so friendly and welcoming. The church dates from 1111 and has a fascinating history.

The church is well worth a visit. It is very wide for a small town church due to its historic connection with local guilds. There are quite a few interesting features many hidden away under cover so do ask a local for help. The gardens around it are pleasant. The church is near the museum and Wisbech castle and the crescent all of which are worth a visit.

Lovely and interesting church to look round, beautiful stained glass windows.

Found this church by accident, but once inside provide to be quite interesting to walk around. The nearest parking is of King's Walk across the gardens. The building is a mixture of styles with memorial to the prisoners of in the far east.

The first impression is of a very active church with lots of activities for both the congregation and wider community. There is a Greek Orthodox shrine and a memorial to prisoners of war in the far east. The building is a puzzle, parts of it dating back 900 years. It is fun to look at the different architectural styles and try to work out the order in which they were built. It is unusual in that it is very wide at one end with very different side aisles. The left hand ide has rounded arches which become more ornate towards the east end, while the right side has pointed gothic style arches and they have different roof styles. It would have been good to have a leaflet with a bit of historical information, but in the end it is more important that it is an open and welcoming place that serves the community.

This church has always been open for visitors whenever we have visited it. The interior is fascinating because its double nave makes the whole building so wide. In addition, there are some interesting monuments, some of which are tucked away and require quite a bit of effort in order to find them. Altogether an enjoyable place to visit.

Wisbech used to be a thriving old port, and had a lot of money; the monuments in this church are amazing. Also inside is a real WWI wooden temporary cross, really rare item, along with a memorial to locals that died in Japanese custody in WWII. The church's garden is nice and tranquil, a great treat, although many of the tombstones are too eroded to read. Welcoming and a great visit, easy parking across the street for both the Wisbech and Fenland Museum and this church.
