We were one adult and two children, 11 and 13. There were six people in the group together. Lily was our instructor guide and she was super. The Segways are different to the city/urban ones and we felt well-mounted to ride across the fields, up and down the grass hills and through the muddy puddles. We all had a lot of fun and the children said it was the best thing of our short holiday in Cumbria. After Segway, Lily is to wait to see the Halloween headless riders on skeletal Friesian horses in the village. We had some lunch and then they appeared!

Segwaying was fantastic. Got to see amazing views of the Cartmel and beyond, they were breathtaking. They Lady who took our tour... sorry forgotten her name was amazing. Told us history of the area, other places to visit, short walks within the village, other eateries in the area.
Would definitely recommend this experience. Just wish we had booked the longer 3hr treck.

Awesome experience for my son (10yrs) and me, never done Segway before, the intro/training was great and guided through the trails with ease, great location, great company and we will definitely be back to experience the longer session

We had an amazing time, kit was all first class and instructors were really good craic. The estate was beautiful and a really good space to do this.

Had the best experience on the segways with my two sons. Our guide was lovely and friendly and help build my confidence on the Segway. Loved every minute and would highly recommend. Thank you Lillie x

Lillie welcomed us and got us going very quickly after the demonstration. We had a great time going round the trails near Cartmel racecourse, and Lillie was an excellent instructor and guide. Only my son and me in the group, which made it all the more special. Would definitely recommend both Lakeland Segway and Lillie to anyone wanting a good value Segway experience in stunning surroundings.

My friends and I were staying in Cartmel for the weekend, and with 2 of us having enjoyed Segway before, we decided to book this. My novice friend had some quick training and we jumped right on. Off road segways were used and we set off some lanes into Holker Hall park. We had a lovely sunny day, so cruised up and down paths, stopping to enjoy the view of the bay and receive some interesting local information. We could have gone for longer, but the pub lunch was calling!

Great experience. Lily was a really good, sensitive and patient teacher, mindful that one of us was scared. Loved this gentle way of travel through the Holker estate, with time to take in the views.

We went Segwaying for the first time yesterday and had an absolutely fantastic time. We found it surprisingly easy to get the hang of so was able to focus on just enjoying the experience.
Easy booking process and Lilly was an excellent and professional host.
The whole thing was great value for money and we'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Great fun today at the Cartmel Holker estate on the Lakeland Segway tour.
Oliver was great, patient and informative, great fun to do, with brilliant views out across the estate.
Just me and my wife in the group today on a windy day, but excellent fun anyway.
Great attraction and worth the money.

Hi. For insurance reasons all Segway tours need to be accompanied by our experienced guides. The guides also make it a safe experience for you plus provide info on the local area and other activities.

Hello. If you have someone else in your party who could look after the child or they are old enough to look after themselves, there is lots to do in the village or they could hire bikes from us also.

Hello.
Children are allowed however they must be a minimum 45 kgs which is 7 stones. Only one person per segway. These conditions are for safety reasons as breaching them would increase risk of injury. Regards Wayne
