Just been here for 2 skinny coffee s asked for more sugar because there was only 2 there but got told there was none but they said to go to geggs to nicked some won't be back

Not mad on the location of this Costa; although it is quite cosy, and smaller than the other Costa. There is an alcove which is good, more private; although toilet is right opposite. There's also a separate small back area. Staff are usually pleasant. Male barista brought my toast to me which was nice. Coffee and snacks are nice

pros....
-quick service and very tasty
-extremely friendly staff, enjoyed having a small conversation with them while drinks were being made
-the layout of the store is very cozy and unique compared to other costas, definitely our favourite
cons...
-like all costa, it costa-lot for what you get, and sizes have been shrunk
-it cost more to eat in than to take away which is ridiculous considering the price you pay anyway

Called in because the bigger costa was chocca,
My son uses a wheelchair and granted it is a little tight, But the staff wr very helpful and considerate.
He always has a medium hpt chocolate in a large takeout cup, Easier for him to hold.
Never any problems.
Definitely recommend and definitely be back again soon.

Called in here for a coffee while out shopping with my Mum.
Seating area is very small with the tables quite close to one another, you almost feel like you are sitting on each others knees (not good if you don't know the person at the next table).
Also the layout of the café is not good for disabled people, wheelchairs users would never manoeuvre around.
Muffins were delicious, hot chocolate was mediocre. Nearly £10 for 2 hot drinks and 2 muffins is a little too expensive, having said that there was a queue so people obviously don't object to paying this

Thought that I would try this place for an afternoon coffee, it’s small ‘pokie’ and some what claustrophobic offering little to attract one. There are better venues in Whitehaven in which to drink coffee, (have a look at the Wellington).
However the greatest disappointment, for which the Costa management were not responsible was the clientele that I observed, feet on the chairs, and a delight in using there telephones, in ‘hands free mode’, so that I was able to enjoy both sides of a banal noisy conversation. Such that I have no desire to visit this venue again.
Regarding the coffee sampled, a medium cup, of mediocre flavour served in a cup whose weight provides good wrist exercise to lift it (trembling) to ones lips!
Don’t bother with this place.

This cost hasn’t been open long. I have been here a couple of times and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The shop is always clean. When I have been with the kids they always enjoy it.

Grate surroundings with view of the harbour nice relaxing atmosphere for good cup / mug of coffe brilliant staff always remember the regulars
