Would recommend hiring from these guys any time you are in the area and after a bike. Really well maintained bikes, great route support/knowledge of the area and lovely people. We were a large group and they were extremely helpful, definitely great value for money. Excited to come back!

After some excellent advice from James I hired a pedal assist Trek bike from the Bike Garage. It was presented in excellent order and performed flawlessly for the big day out we had planned. I can’t say enough positive things about the whole experience. Friendly, knowledgable and a genuinely helpful service. Really well done.

Fantastic bikes and service from James and the team at Bike garage. We hired one electric and one non-electric mountain bike. They were really good quality bikes and James was very helpful with routes and tips on trails. Thanks.

Great central location with access to load of different trails. Bike in great maintained condition.
Visibility was low but nothing kept us back from having an unreal time.
Bike was easy to get used to and made lite work of any hill.
Enough battery to get around all day with a little left to boost back to base.
Great day, great service, great experience!

Can only say incredible things about the Bike Garage. James went above and beyond to help make my rental experience possible. His kindness and professionalism impressed at every step of the way. He even provided carefully customized suggestions about best biking routes. He keeps his (high quality!) bikes in tip-top shape and I trusted my rental to carry me safely across all terrain (on and off-road).

Very good Trek Marlin 8 hardtail bike (3 day bike hire), I was really happy with the 1x12 gears, so easy to use, also the dropper post is very helpful in descents.
The tubeless tyres had excellent grip and the bike was overall quite light en very maneuverable
James also gave me a pump and a spare tyre, the booking went easy and the service was superb: I'm from Belgium and they even changed the brake lever positions for me (left = front brake, right = rear brake) & changed the pedals to SPD pedals. Thanks again!

I’m thinking of purchasing some e-bikes for myself & my partner so wanted to get some idea of what they were about and possibly try some. We happened to be staying in the area so popped in to the Bike Garage to ask about them. James was very open & approachable answering any questions I had plus offered some sound advice regarding them. I then asked about the potential of hiring two the next day but I couldn’t commit just at that time, James was nothing but understanding & simply suggested that I could book via the website if I did want to later that evening, along with recommendations on what to book.
As it happened we did book, so we took out two EMTB’s on one of the recommended trails the Bike Garage suggest, James kindly offered to & fitted one of the GPS sat nav’s to one of the bikes then sized us up, adjusted the bikes to fit accurately, then we were on our way. All in all the information given as well as the hire was nothing but quality in my opinion. The Bike Garage has friendly staff, help as much as they can & offer a quality experience out on the bikes to boot. I fully recommend.
