Rented some of the electric mountain bikes with a group of friends. Fantastic bikes that are obviously kept well serviced and great customer service - we were given some great routes to choose from. Will be back again!

The only place you need to go to when you need a bike, first class service and top quality bikes. You can see the level of attention taken with the prep too.

Super simple straight forward way to hire a bike in the Peaks, happy to let me use my own pedals and even mount my garmin on the hire bike.
Helped to set up the bikes and go through modes and make sure we knew everything we needed to know
Downloaded three route from their website for free, did most of one with the weather cutting the ride short, definitely will be returning to complete all of them!

Second time I’ve rented full sus mtb’s from the bike garage. They got a good selection of routes and the bikes are top notch.

Five star experience matched by two very pleasant professional people, James and Oliver.From the moment I considered booking until the end of the experience we got nothing but great support.The bikes are top of the range and well maintained and the support service was matched only by the enthusiasm of the guys.We arrived at 9:30 am and the bikes that we had ordered were outside,all cleaned and all waiting for us.If you have a chat with James or Oliver about the level of cyclists you are and the type of terrain that you want to cover they will sort it out and put it in the GPS for you(definitely use their GPS….it made the day so easy)After about three hours we returned and as they topped up the batteries on our bikes my wife,two girls and myself had a coffee in the cafe next door, then off for another two hours up to the reservoir.
All in all, a fabulous experience.If you haven’t tried E bikes before,please give it a go.And, if you do and you are in the area make sure hire the bikes from James and Oliver.

We needed to hire mountain bikes last minute as we lost our shed keys and had a day’s activity booked nearby. The ease with which we could arrange hire via the website and collect the bikes so easily took the stress out of a very stressful situation! Great bikes. Friendly service. Fab location for accessing the outdoors. Couldn’t ask for much more.

Great gear, very professional and friendly staff!
We did already different rides with Bike Garage in Peak District and it's always a great adventure/ride.
Different routes for different levels (we like the red one!).

We have hired bikes from James for several years now and every time he always goes the extra mile to make our visit to the Peak District stress free. This year we hired 7 eMTB’s which were delivered and collected from our hotel. Great service and who knew how much fun you could have on two wheels and an electric motor!

Had a great experience with The Bike Garage - for one of my 50th celebrations, 10 of us hired bikes and had a fantastic time last Saturday. The guys couldn't have been more helpful and really know their stuff. Couldn't recommend enough... and also the trails - WOW

Really great service and attention to detail. Bikes were very well prepped and everything was well explained and set up for each individual rider. Routes are provided free of charge too. Very good experience, would willingly come back and use their ebikes again in the future.
