We used our Tesco Clubcard vouchers to buy our balloon experience and I was a little apprehensive but also very excited.
We had a brilliant briefing on exactly what we should all do (and not do) to ensure our safety and we all mucked in to help get the balloon inflated, each individual was given a job based upon their size and ability and we soon bonded as a team. Before we knew it the balloon was up and I was amazed how quickly it gained height.
Then silence as we drifted over the scenery below. We could hear dogs barking and cars below. The operators took time to point out landmarks as we flew over and took great care not to startle farm animals we went over on our route.
Eventually we landed in a field and it was not long before the vehicle with trailer was there with us. The corks were popped on the bottles of bubbly and it was smiles all around as we worked together to help fold up the balloon and get the basket on the trailer before being taken back to our cars.
It was a truly awesome experience that I would love to do again. The guys who took us were great, informative, friendly and attentive during the entire experience
