Last minute showing on a Wednesday night which we thought was fantastic as we were only in town for Tuesday - Wednesday nights. Love that is run by volunteers and is a community not for profit organization definitely recommend as it helps out the community

Daylesford Cinema is located at the rear of the Rex Arcade (main St Daylesford). It's a great little cinema, featuring the best of the latest release movies and combining that with the odd Q&A session with producers/directors thrown in for good measure. It's also been known to host live entertainment! The people of Daylesford as so lucky to have a wonderful, small, intimate cinema on their doorstep. Run by volunteers, all ticket sale and confectionary sales go back into the running of the cinema. There's no rich CEO here or Corporate "glamour"! This is one cinema worth seeking out and supporting! Ticket prices are very reasonable also to attract the masses. Movie and popcorn and change out of $20! Can't argue with that!

Daylesford is blessed with a delightful, comfortable 100 seat cinema thanks to community volunteers who make you feel really welcome. They have first release movies and feature special age appropriate films during school holidays. We are so lucky to have this cinema residents and visitors love it.

Every small town needs it's own cinema and the rebirth of Daylesford's historic Cinema Rex (now called Daylesford Cinema) is such a blessing for the town. Run by a team of dedicated volunteers, it's a bit like having your own personal movie theater. The film list is an eclectic mix of blockbusters and art-house, with the occasional classic thrown in. A great place to meet friends for a movie, and a truly safe place for kids to go to the flicks (just like in the golden days of cinema going). My only gripe (and it's a minor gripe) is that a few more classics and cult films would be wonderful. Keep up the great work.
