I love any kind of an antique store that has turned itself into a mall. What I mean in that is that each consigner has their own square and are in charge of how they choose to display it. You get some people who will just line things up as part of their antique business, and then you have others that will make an entire store window out of it. Those are my absolute favorites, and I love coming across them!
In PA where we reside, there was an antique mall many years ago at Washington Crown Center that was called Black Rose Antiques that was house in the former Old Navy store. That mall was set up similar to this one. I have never come across another one yet until I found Mr. Darby‘s.
The very first booth I was greeted by was a colorful wall of fiesta ware. I, myself do not own or collect, but my best friend does so I quickly snapped a picture and sent it to her. I know she would love to see this in person!
I am very much into color, coordinating and room coordinating so I also took a liking to the Pyrexx booth. The oranges that they pulled together were absolutely beautiful.
My kids even found a booth that they liked that had Nintendo games and Pokémon cards for purchase. It is very important to also include the little ones when it comes to our adventures. They found some they liked and purchased with their own money.
I selected a few holiday magazine ads, and I intend to frame and hang this coming Christmas. With it being July, I am in the Christmas in July spirit, and loved that there were some holiday antiques, vintage and collectibles at the forefront to see.
They offer in store pickup and buy used goods. Checks, debit, and credit cards accepted.

Had an incredible experience on my day off at Mr Darby's. So many items ranging from vintage to retro to antique I was fascinated for over an hour. Was especially in love with his selection of real turquoise and gemstone jewelry. Prices were ridiculously Fair I don't think there's another place like it on this planet. We will definitely be back

This a very great place to go with friends or even couples. My boyfriend and I go there all the time and find great things! The owner and his wife are great people and the vendors are all very friendly as well. Would recommend to anyone who loves antiques or collectibles!

We visited this shop when we were in Boardman. Looking at the items they had brought back childhood memories. The collections are good. We spent time looking around. Staff were very helpful and friendly. In all our excitement we forgot an item at the shop. As we were tourists they could not find out where we might be staying. But two days later we called to ask if our item was left behind.They were so thrilled that we made contact and they could give it to us. Will definitely visit them when I am in Boardman again. If you are interested in antiques and love collecting, the shop is worth visiting.

I love Mr. Darby's. The clerks, and owners are so nice to talk with, and the store has the neatest items to buy. When I go there I see something that reminds me of memories of being a little girl. Bob the owner is very nice, and his mom is so pleasant when she waits on you. I have never had a problem when shopping there. If you are looking for something very unique stop at Mr. Darby's and check out what they have to offer. You will never be disappointed!!!

I stopped in today leaving the Swap meet at Canfield fairgrounds. I didn't buy anything but Mr. Darbys is a good place to spend some time when its raining. The staff didn't bother me and let me look around. All in all a good place to hunt for vintage items.

'Grandma had it, Mom got rid of it, now I want it bac (sic)" is the amusing parking lot sign that succinctly describes the treasures that await inside Mr. Darby's Emporium. On a recent trip to Boardman, had a pleasant hour long sojourn down my childhood material memories in this well laid out, clean and organized store. Walked out with a vintage Spud McKenzie Bud Light dog statue and an 19th century antique Chinese plate - all for less than $17 - after pleasant chats with the helpful store staff. If in Boardman, definitely drop in.

My mom and I went to the Lady's Night at Mr. Darby's Thursday night and had so much fun shopping, munching on the great snacks and appetizers provided, and sipping some delicious local wine! We both went home happy with a few new treasures, too!

I live making the trip to Mr. Darby's. There are always interesting and unique items. I usually find something to buy but even if I don't it's still a lot of fun to look. And a great owner and employees.

My wife and I are both fans of antique shopping and once every other month or so we try and make a circle from our house in Southington out to Newton Falls, on over to Lordstown, then Youngstown, but I can't return home until I've made it to Mr. Darby's... We could probably walk around this shop all day long... Really friendly staff, but not annoying to your trip... My wife and I are in our mid/late 20's and don't know the first thing about antiques, but we do know that this shop has at least one thing that is sure to catch your eye... We went on Thursday, January 17th; on a day that most people are concerned with prepping for a winter storm, we chose to make an out of the way 45 minute trip... There is a VERY UNIQUE and FAIRLY PRICED HANDMADE STEAM PUNK SECTION that is a MUST SEE... They have a wide selection of come l coins and antique bills... If you're in the area, I bet you won't be disappointed if you were to stop by...
