Very cool bar, large drink menu, and amazing nachos. Very different from the nachos you would normally expect. Very much a college kid scene

We first visited after a trip to the West Side Market for a well deserved beer and a bite to eat. The bartender and I hit it off (big surprise) and started talking about the food. The chef is classically trained and does bar food that ROCKS! First trip I recommend the atomic dog, a deep fried hot dog stuffed with jalapeños and wrapped in BACON. The chips are homemade and come with caramelized onion dip that makes my mouth water typing about it. They have a BLT with pork belly worth your while and a great draft and bottles list. The waitstaff is a little edgy looking, but I traveled on a motorcycle long enough to know that some of the nicest people ever look a little edgy. Make the effort to get to know them and they will be one of the reasons to keep coming back. But...the food! Underpriced (shhhhh) and excellent will be the surprise.

ABC the Tavern – хороший ресторан, в котором мы ужинали. Вежливые официанты проводили нас к месту и предложили довольно таки разнообразное меню, в котором были рыбные и мясные блюда, морепродукты, различные закуски, салаты, десерты и напитки. Всем рекомендуем то, что мы попробовали и оценили по достоинству – мясо с фетой, шпинатом и соусом и обжаренные во фритюре кальмары. Пиво тоже было холодным и вкусным.

Bar was great. Staff friendly. Drinks cheap. Open til 2am in a Sunday and had a good crowd. Enjoyed drinking here but I barely remember leaving.

We often go to ABC when in Cleveland. It is a great little neighborhood bar with an outstanding beer list and prices lower than the typical in the area.
On this trip we stopped during Happy Hour and I was delighted to find Founders Porter for $4.00. They have a chalkboard list of Happy Hour specials with a wide variety to suit your mood. I also had (as always) an Atomic Dog - a 1/4 pound hotdog stuffed with jalapeños, wrapped in bacon and deep fried. It is a thing of beauty, served with fries for $7.00. My wife usually gets the homemade chips, unusually thin and crisp, that come with homemade caramelized onion dip - just outstanding.
My only caution is that sometimes the place gets really loud and borderline rowdy with an old school bowling machine by the door and a furnace that is an overachiever if you are directly under the vents.
However, I would gladly sit in the hottest, loudest seat in the place if that gets me a sandwich and a beer in a "cool" joint, served by a friendly bartender, who may not resemble the kid next door. I like bartenders who look rough but have great smiles and a personality.

The service (Heather) is excellent. The beer selection is pretty good. The lamb pita (quesadilla) is outstanding. This is definitely worth the stop.

Food is pretty good for a bar. But the place is a little dirty it makes you wonder. The mens room is very bad. The smell will ruin your meal. Too bad because the food is good.
