“Our Favorite Place in Columbus!”

The purrrfect stop on our mini vacation

We were expecting something totally different but it was still really cool.
You get a small container of treats & have so much room to play and relax with the kittys, as well as a seperate little seating area where you can watch the cats play through a window while you eat or sip a drink. 10/10 would reccomend

Would have been nice to know that "reservations" were suggested... Really - a four hour opening? Kids were disappointed.

Our Favorite Place in Columbus!

My husband found this online when he was looking for things to do while accompanying me on a business trip to Columbus. We made reservations online and spent our best hour in Columbus with the kitties who reside here. It is a great concept and I would love to see this pop up in other places. You pay a flat fee to spend an hour with the cats. They have about 12-15 cats at a time, most of them are very friendly but there are a few who may be shy. They give you a cup of treats and a timer when you arrive and you can interact with the cats as well as enjoy some coffee or prepackaged treats from a local vegan bakery. They also have a hand washing station as well as lint roller, hand sanitizer, etc. They thought of everything! The cats are from the local shelter and are up for adoption, most of them were already pending which was great to see. If we were local we would definitely want to adopt from them if possible!

A heart happy place <3

The staff is wonderful, very friendly and informative. The cats own it. It's heartwarming to see them so comfortable and relaxed, waiting for their forever homes. Not one of them could possibly even realize they are not 'at home'! Entirely centered around their comfort, we are merely 'visitors' and it's a most brilliant idea. We will definitely be back our next time in the area.

One of My Favorite Cat Cafes!

I have visited cat cafes throughout the U.S. and this is one of the best I have seen. There are many nice touches that make this cafe a fun place to visit and a comfortable place for the cats to live. Example: The little cup of treats given to each visitor, which gives one a nice “icebreaker” to engage the cats.

Another nice touch worth mentioning, that shows that the management of Eat, Purr, Love knows cats and their clientele: A simple laminated sheet that shows examples of cat body language and behavior — perfect to set up less experienced cat people (and kids!) for success in interacting with the kitties. Such a smart idea!

I highly recommend Eat, Purr, Love for a nice relaxing and economical hour of hanging out with some fascinating creatures in a very warm and inviting space. I will absolutely visit again if I find myself in Columbus in the future.

Kudos to these caring folks who are doing such good for the people and homeless cats in their community!

Relaxing hour with cats

We stopped while visiting from Pittsburgh. We had our 8 year old son with us. The cats roam about and having different areas to relax in. There are toys available to play with them and treats are given to each person. My son was able to sit and read books to several cats. We got to play with the cats and watch them roam around. It was really relaxing and fun. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes cats. The place is very clean and doesn’t smell like cats. The colored tags on their collars let you know if they are adopted or their personality traits. We will definitely be back again. We enjoyed it so much!
