The Josephinum is a Roman Catholic college for men who are entering in to the priesthood and under the influence of the Vatican not necessarily of the diocese of Columbus. Often priests from the Josephinum assist the local parishes with Sunday services as well as other duties needed by the parish pastors. The location is in the far North end of Columbus in the city of Worthington, Ohio. An easy off/on I-270 and Ohio route 23 north. One exit west of I-71. Several hotels and convention centers in the area as well as restaurants and shopping.

We stopped by for mass and to see a friend in seminary. We lucked out and it turned out to be friends and family weekend. We ended up getting a tour of the place and quite a nice meal too. The Pontifical College Josephinum is special even among seminaries as it is the only one that reports directly to the Vatican. As such the seminarians wear a black and red cassock, and it does remind you being in Rome. There is a striking level of peace on the grounds and if you would like a relaxing day, maybe join them for mass on Sunday and see if you can walk around a bit afterwards.

Had a great time visiting a seminarian friend at the Josephinum. He gave us a wonderful tour of the seminary and the grounds. We also were blessed to be there for a Deaconite Ordination which was a special treat. It is a beautiful peaceful place. It is a private facility, and not open to the public, but if you know someone who can show you around or have an opportunity to go u would highly suggest it! Everything is beautiful and the newly renovated chapel is truly something to see.

This is a very peaceful place. I felt the spirit of God on the grounds. It’s a beautiful place. Very beautiful architecture. The grounds are beautiful.

This seminary sits on high ground just north of Worthington, OH. It's old magestic buildings can be seen for milles around. I do not know if you can take tours but just a drive through shows interesting architecture.

The Pontifical College of the Josephinum is under the direct control of the Vatican and the Pope. Men study here to enter into the priesthood. A beautiful attractive campus it is an interesting and educational experience to visit. Handicapped accessible for the most part. Visitor parking is available.

One of the few Pontifical Colleges in the US, and it is a beautiful place. On rare occasions its facilities are open for concerts or other events, and you don't want to miss it. Normally the grounds are posted as no admittance.

I have attended conferences at the Josephinum over the past seven years and the place is very nice. It is the only Pontifical college in the U.S. The buildings are very nice and the church and chapels are beautiful. The main Church is being renovated right now, but it's still worth a look.

If you're in the area definitely stop for a drive around the grounds. Really beautiful architecture of this building is really pretty. And of course it houses lots of different religious artifacts and things but we did not go inside

This is a well established seminary that infrequently provides opportunities to tour. It has an interesting back story to explain why it is the only Rome-directed pontifical cloolege in Nrth America, plus some amazing academic religious history. The interior architecture is less impressive than the views of the exterior.
