Great hiking trails with a water fowl observation area. There is a cozy nature center with exhibits of local wildlife. There is also bird watching windows where you can stay dry and warm while observing all the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks that come to visit.

We went with three kids the youngest is almost 3. The paved paths make for an easy time with little ones. But do be careful the water over the path can make it slippery and our little one took a tumble into the water. Lots of birds, frogs and flowers, we even spied some crayfish and land snails. Wouldn't go out of your way to go but it was a nice place to be out in nature. We found it after leaving the Olentangy Caverns which is close by.

This is a hidden gem. The lodge is well put together with informative and educational displays. Great place for a lovely walk.

I was told about Deer Haven a few years ago and now it is simply my most favorite hike here in central Ohio. The setting is wonderful, the trails are maintained and the length of trails are perfect!

Very clean, nice trails. A great place for a daily hike or run! The Visitor Center has good displays and the children's area is full of resources.

Went here April 1 to look for birds. Chilly and grey, but lovely walk on dirt paths thru 3 distinct bird areas - wetlands, grasslands and through woods. Nice nature center. Also a short grassy trail connecting to Havener Park. Off Liberty between Rte 23 and Powell.

It's nothing remarkable but an enjoyable spot to walk and enjoy nature, safe - can walk your dogs on certain trails- nice educational building and displays with a fire in the winter in fireplace.... will visit again ...,,

This is a place that our family hikes weekly. I have 4 kids under the age of 6 and this park is perfect for not only us adults, but them as well. Pause on the bridges and check out the good size frogs and/or tadpoles. Also toward the back you can take some time to watch the pond and see all kinds of wild life. We have seen turtles, hawks, and even a fox. The other great things is they have some great programs that really get the kids engaged in the outdoors. Heaven knows all of our kids need more time in the great out of doors.

Short and long trails. Some with dogs allowed and some without so you can choose the experience you want. Nice nature center, restrooms, etc. Wetlands, open prairie, woods, ravines, creeks, ponds, large old growth Oak forest! It is a very nice place. Probably our go-to hike location when with friends and family.
