We have shopped at the gift shop multiple times and on this trip also went up to Hans' place to sample wines and have lunch. My mother and I sampled 6 wines and liked many of them. I would recommend the Dutch Apple wine. It was very good if you like sweet wines. The wine tasting came with delicious herbed crackers and pretzels. It took a while to get our wine bottles pulled and rung up.
Now lunch was a different matter. There was one waitress on duty for the entire dining room and outdoor seating area. She also appeared to be helping with setting up in another room for a large event- she was carrying things into and through there. Every step was slower than would be expected. Getting our order in, getting our drinks. getting our food, getting a box to take left overs, getting our check etc. We both had veggie quesadillas. Mine was fine, my mother's had some overly done almost charred parts on the tortilla.

Maybe we were there at a bad time, but there was only one person behind the bar providing tastings and the lines were really long. We asked about free samples but instead we ended up getting flights. Later we saw that they were giving samples? The wine was OK. We ate at their restaurant and that left a lot to be desired. We both got salads and they were pretty sad. There is a nice outside patio area with umbrellas to eat, but we ate inside because of the heat. It would’ve been a better atmosphere eating outside.
I see that there is a restaurant across the street in a big barn that might be a better choice. We didn’t go there, but we saw signs about barbecue after we had eaten the sad salads :(

The service here is HORRIFIC if you are there for food and not drinking alcohol. So if you don't drink...STEER CLEAR!

Absolutely beautiful winery....the deck Built through the woods and the pond and waterfalls with blue water was so pretty and relaxing! The server's were so nice! I will be back with more people!!!

This is our favorite winery to date! Connie was amazing with the tasting, she gives the most accurate description of the taste and knows exactly what to offer based on we liked. After the tasting we had a flight while we waited in food. A fabulous time!

A quaint little place tucked away in the country with a wonderful setting for a winery. My wife and I absolutely loved the wine selection and atmosphere of the outdoor patio and decks. We will go back and highly recommend.

We did not taste any wines, nor did we sample any cheeses, although we saw several people who were with pleasurable results.
But we did wander the gift shop which was pleasantly surprising. Really loved the variety of lace curtains and other home decor items. An impressive selection for a small venue.
They did not have what we wanted in stock, so they offered to place an order for us and have been in touch since then with updates on the anticipated delivery date.

If your're not a big 'winey' then this is the place to come and taste several wines and have a light lunch with your wine. A little food never hurt with wine. The menu is light and has local foods as well as American. You can choose 4 wines from the list of fruit flavored wines and enjoy at your table. We each picked two and asked for a second glass so we could share, ot just both sip out of one glass. The sandwiches we had were ample and we enjoyed the entire vitist and wine tasting experience.

We had a tour set up of eight different wineries and this was far the best one. Only down fall is that they don't up date there times on line for tastings and for dinner. So call and check.
