The waterfalls, the pebbled banks of the stream and the bamboo garden made this place so amazing that I had no intent to return home. It was so calm and peaceful except the occasional chirping of parrots.

This fall is on the way to the Dawki from Shillong. You can give a stop here and will love it. This will add to your falls list in the Shillong and will not take much of your time.

I use to love this place when I was growing up since it was not so commercial and the water flow was so natural albeit itbecome a bit messy now and water is also seasonal.

Dwarksuid, locally known as the Devil's Doorway, is a less-known yet beautiful tourist attraction in Ri Bhoi district of Meghalaya. Formed by a gurgling stream of water, this pool is located alongside the road that connects Umroi to Bhoilymbong. It has a wide waterfront with a combination of rocky and sandy terrains. What serves as the highlight of this site is the group of natural rock formations, which is shaped like a blooming flower of lotus.

Dwar Ksuid is actually comes from two words in Khasi Language which means DWAR-"Door or Entrance",and KSUID-"devil or dark spirits".If you go near this fall you will see a gorge in both side just near the fall,at the water is dark.It really look scary when you knew the real meaning of this fall.
