We recently spent a wonderful day at this horse farm and are absolutely thrilled! From the beginning we felt at home thanks to the warm and family atmosphere. Riding was an incredible experience – the horses are well trained and the riding experience was professional and sensitive.
The whole property is spotlessly clean and well maintained, which impressed us very much. Another highlight was the delicious food – fresh, varied and lovingly prepared. The hospitality was simply outstanding, the owners are incredibly nice and always listen to their guests.
We can only warmly recommend this place and are already looking forward to our next visit!

This place is only recommended so warm and familiar. We were there for lunch and got so much good food. In the evening we were picked up and went out for an hour and afterwards we still relaxed on the terrace and enjoyed our drinks. Animals are the top priority here, all very well maintained. We would definitely come back.

Had a great horse riding experience with my partner and child. We went through olive fields and it was a lovely one hour ride, the horses were beautiful and really well looked after.

We had such a wonderful time at Arion Stables, it was highly recommended by our hotel Creta Maris, the stables also offers a collection and drop off from your hotel.
After Teaching the basics, they have a tour through the country side, our guide was a lovely polish stable hand (Alisha I believe, sorry if wrong) who was phenomenal with the horses, keeping us engaged through the hour ride and giving both history and present day information in the surrounding background.
The horses are clearly well loved by their owners and staff, cheeky and loving treats! An incredible experience!
Extremely beautiful stables and horses, our guide was brilliant and informative giving us the best experience in our holiday we can’t thank Georgios and the team enough, we’ll definitely be back!

Another excellent ride on calm and beautiful horses. Cannot wait to come back again. The owners are fabulous and very friendly and the dogs even came along for a ride. They cater for non riders and all riding abilities

i went on for a ride at dawn when it wasn't too hot for the horses and riders. The horses were happy and well-groomed. You can see that the owners love animals and this is their great passion. The trainers are friendly and speak several languages. I liked that the horses get treats for listening. We rode along the beach that had a great view. The ride was over two hours long. It enjoyed it a lot. on the farm the were other animals like donkeys, turtles, ducks and ponies. After the ride i went to pet them. I definitely recommend going. I loved the experience and would love to go again.

Me and my girlfriend booked a morning ride through the hotel we were staying and had an amazing time, the transport there was simple and quick. Me and my girlfriend had never rode a horse before but we’re made to feel very comfortable as soon as we got there. We went out with Zara and another girl who was on an internship. They were both very nice and you could tell they cared a lot about the horses and had a lot of experience. The girl also took lots of great pictures and insured she got one from every angle. The scenery was very nice and the length of it was perfect for especially towards the end where they let us take the reigns as they had seen us build up a bit more confidence. 10/10 would recommend

Went today with my daughter. Fantastic 2 hours hacking through the country side and beach. The team were very helpful and friendly. I’d highly recommend.

I booked a 2-hour ride in Germany. I got a response very quickly.
When I got there, I was greeted very warmly by Zara.
Miso also greeted me very warmly.
The horses and the other animals on the farm are very well looked after.
Before we set off, Zara gave us a few tips on how to best get on with "our" horse. Attention was also paid to how long/how well you can ride. Which I think is very important. The two of us went on the ride with Miso. Miso was incredibly nice, explained a lot and was always careful that we and the horses were doing well. The horses were great to ride, without a bit. Which I thought was incredibly great. The ride to the beach and through the olive plantations was great. I am grateful for this great result.
And I can recommend it to anyone who is here on the island.

We need to know your horse riding level and your body weight! Our weight limit is 90 kg!
we never do big groups with strangers and different level riders, just you with your partner and always with guide!
our horses are very well trained and healthy, 100 % safe for all levels and any age!!!
For 1 hour, 40€ per person, we ride through the olive fields to Agriana village and back to the stables!
Insurance included in the price
And for 2 1/2 hours (bit longer) our best ride to the beach and the river of Aposelemis, combination of a different Cretan terrain, with lots to see and very andvengerus and safe same time, costs 70€ per person! 18km in total!
(Minimum 2 persons, if only 1 person/ private ride +10€)
Insurance included in the price
We do also pony/ donkey rides for kids or horse riding for all the family, 30 minutes for 20€!

mon nom est George avec ma femme Zara nous dirigeons les Arion Stables, nous sommes ouverts toute l'année, tous les manèges et les tours en calèche que nous fournissons sont toujours privés / individuels pour plus de sécurité et plus de joie !!!
nous ne faisons jamais de grands groupes avec des étrangers et des cavaliers de niveau différent, juste vous avec votre partenaire et toujours avec le guide!
nos chevaux sont très bien entraînés et en bonne santé, 100% sûrs pour tous les niveaux et à tout âge !!!
Pour 1 heure, 40 € par personne, nous traversons les oliveraies jusqu'au village d'Agriana et retournons aux écuries!
(Minimum 2 personnes, si seulement 1 personne / trajet privé + 10 €)
Assurance incluse dans le prix
Et pour 2 heures et demie (un peu plus long) notre meilleur trajet jusqu'à la plage et la rivière d'Aposelemis, avec beaucoup de choses à voir et très andvengerus et en même temps en sécurité, coûte 70 € par personne!

Hello, I have a question, we are going shortly to Hersonissos and we would like to make a beach ride with the horses. But I have never been on a horse, my girlfriend has had her own horse and also has driving experience. Are we still allowed to make a beach ride with two or is there guidance?
