Nous avons adoré cette découverte des différents paysages Crétois en buggy. Accueil très chaleureux lors de notre réservation, puis, cerise sur le gâteau, Perrine une guide française souriante, et au petits soins, nous a accompagné toute la journée. La conduite du buggy alterne entre un peu de route, la traversée de villages typiques, et des pistes dans les oliveraies, et la montagne.
Ce sera le meilleure souvenir de notre semaine en Crète.

You get to see and experience sights and places most tourists never do. Purine and George are the best and the office lady is a hoot.

Die Tagestour ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Landschaftlich eine sehr schöne Strecke. Mittagessen traditionell und lecker. Guide top. Für erfahrene Buggy-Fahrer könnte es etwas mehr Action und die Rücktour etwas mehr Off-road sein. Alles in allem aber ein super Angebot.

To start our day we was greeted by the reception staff who was lovely. Then we started our tour leading by Perrene who I can not fault, the whole tour she would check on us, provide us with water if needed and explain the route, history and mountains whilst we stopped to take pictures. We will be returning again next year and will do this again . Thank you for such a great Experiance

By far the highlight of our holiday. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of this trip and all the people involved.
On arrival we were greeted by one of the loveliest Greek receptionists I’ve ever met. She was full of character and made us all feel very welcome. The chosen route through the villages and mountains was fantastic, with breathtaking views and interesting rest points throughout the trip. The route consisted of some relaxed village driving, mixed with some exhilarating narrow track off-roading. We visited some beauty spots not accessible by road and stopped for a delicious three course lunch at a friendly local taverna.
A special mention is deserved for our wonderful guide Perrine. She was friendly, incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable about the Island and local landmarks. She was regularly checking we were all okay, more than happy to take our photos and even lent us a couple of rain jackets for the colder areas in the mountains. The whole day was brilliant and I couldn’t have wished for anything better. If you are visiting Crete then you cannot afford to miss this fantastic buggy safari. One of the best days of my life. Thank you 😊

An amazing experience and one not to miss when you are in Crete.
We drove 100 miles from Chania having read the reviews, and the trip surpassed our expectations. Dimitrious was an excellent guide and we learnt so much about Crete. The ‘main event’ was the off-road driving …. and the best we’ve done - the views are spectacular and the driving great fun …
Lunch was another surprise … the restaurant was so good that we’ll go back there for a meal - the food was delicious and more than you could wish for.
Maria at the office, who we met and booked with after a ‘walk in’, could not have been more helpful.
It’s just a great value for money experience …. and Maria, as promised ….. we have just booked a return holiday for next September so will see you again !!

Les souvenirs de pilotage d'un buggy lors d'un voyage dans les montagnes et l'arrière-pays Crétois resteront pour toujours. Perrine, la guide Française, Dimitri et Maria sont une équipe fantastique et l'on passe avec eux une journée amusante et positivement frissonnante. Les paysages traversés ainsi que la taverne dans laquelle on déjeune le midi sont tout simplement exquis.
Pour ceux qui hésiteraient encore : ne soyez pas découragés par la peur de la montagne, vous êtes entre de bonnes mains. Nous, nous reviendrons !

Une expérience inoubliable pour nous qui etions novice en buggy, une tres bonne guide française, aux petits soins pour nous, nous avons découvert les terres cretoises, de magnifiques vues, nous recommandons les yeux fermés !!!!

Accueil très sympathique, balade alternant asphalte et chemins de montagne, quelques superbes vues et dépaysement, une belle expérience ! Cela mériterait - c’est notre côté passionné qui parle - quelques kilomètres autorisant de se lâcher avec les buggys mais c’est quelque chose à refaire !

Hi! Your contact form is not working on your website. Just a. FYI. I would like to know if there might be an opportunity for a single to ride with a tour leader in a buggy. I don't care to drive. I am a picture taker.
I will be on shore excursion from the port. If not, what is the extra charge for the single buggy?

Hello,
We are planning to visit Greece next month and we are going to book this activity. However our hotel is 34 km from Hersonissos. How much extra would we need to pay to be picked up as we are not within the 20km radius?

Thank you for your question. We don't think non fluent English will be a problem. Afterall, this trip is based on driving powerful machines through beatiful landscapes and exploring wild sceneries. There are a few explanations given in every stop but we don't focus on history explanations. About your location, we only offer free transport in a perimeter of 20km from our office in Hersonissos. You will have to come in our office by a rental car. For more info contact us on: info@motoxperiencesafari.gr

Hello Alan,
Thanks for your question. Our machines are the latest in techolongy, specially designed to be comfortable and easy to drive,as well as get in&out of the buggy since doors open quite easily. So we can assume your partner will be fine. 4 years ago we organized safari with two people in a wheelchair.
