We had a very warm welcome by Julia and Glenn, followed by the alpacas. They were most curious to meet us.
Glenn spent time giving us information about these delightful animals. Being able to getup close and interact was a great experience. My grandchildren loved feeding them and seeing their personalities, especially at feeding time.
We all enjoyed the Alpaca Experience, and have since adopted 2 alpacas. A Christmas present for the grandchildren, where they are contributing to the upkeep of the alpacas that they have interacted with.

Had a really lovely time meeting this lovely group of alpacas and their very friendly owners - Glen had a wealth of knowledge about alpacas in general and you could clearly see how much he loves his own. Great afternoon meeting them all, learning about each of them as individuals and then feeding them and having our photos taken with them. Really good fun and totally worth it!

We had previously had to postpone our visit twice, due to bad weather as its all outdoors but third time lucky, on 31st August we finally got to see and interact with them. It wasn't easy to find as I think we were looking out for a field but they were in a large enclosure around the back of the house. Glenn (the owner) was very welcoming and informative as we bombarded him with questions before actually going in with the alpacas. We fed them leaves and chopped up applies and they loved it. My mum had always said that she loved alpacas (mainly from the TV) but had never actually come face-to-face with one so she was delighted as well as the rest of the family. I was pleased that my niece, by the end, was feeding them herself. She had previously just got over an irrational fear of dogs and so was a little nervous but with some coaxing from granddad she was OK. They feel absolutely soft and woolly. There were about 11 of them and they are really pets of Glenn's. We had what the title 'Alpaca Experience' says on the tin, to get up close and personal. It was an absolute joy and we even came away with some alpaca manure (which my brother-in-law hopes to put on their rhubarb). It was a very educational and wonderful unique experience which I know we shall all be talking about, especially my niece and nephew with their friends at school. We were especially pleased with the wonderful photos that Glenn emailed to us all. Well worth the experience.

My daughter is registered blind with limited vision in one eye and is also Autistic with learning difficulties.The alpaca experience was bought for her 21st birthday and at first she was extremely anxious and was certain that she would only stand outside the paddock and hope that the Alpacas would maybe approach us for me to feed . We were with a small group of other people and felt no pressure at all to go in but after a while she did enter and her confidence grew and grew to the point that we were the last to leave and now Erin wants to make it a yearly trip out. The alpacas are so gentle and the owners are very welcoming . Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon Erin came away feeling so proud of herself it was wonderful.

Glenn shared lots of interesting facts about the alpacas. We were able to feed them and just spend time stroking them and taking lots of photos. The animals are well looked after by a lovely couple in a lovely home. Glenn emailed us some photos which are absolutely brilliant and which really put the cherry on the cake. I visited with my young children and my parents, age range between 2-52 years and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We visited Trelawn Alpacas while on holiday near by. It was such a lovely way to spend an afternoon. We went as a family with our son who is nearly two and the expression on his face when feeding the alpacas was priceless. The owners do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and giving lots of information about their animals. The alpacas are extremely friendly and are clearly very well cared for. All in all a great time. Thank you!

My partners daughter Charlotte and I had a lovely time meeting Trelawns eleven alpacas last week!!.
Glenn their owner made us feel very welcome when we arrived, telling us the history of how the farm came about and made us laugh when he told us some of the mischievious things some of them get up to .He also showed us some videos on his phone of some them having a dip in the paddling pool....so cute!
Glenn along with his wife Julia clearly love each and every one of them and work hard to keep them and their surroundings in tip top condition which makes the farm a pleasure to visit.
We spent about one and a half very relaxing hours learning all about these fascinating animals, we got to feed them and hose some of them down and a few days after returning home Glenn sent us some smashing photo's via email that he had taken.Before leaving we also got a little information pack which is a lovely souvenir of a lovely afternoon out!.We will be back next year for sure!!

Glenn greeted us while we waited for all to arrive
Great afternoon feeding the alpacas and getting up close
Very knowledgeable and friendly Glenn made us feel at ease at all times. A visit different to your ordinary afternoon out!

A simple unpretentious, unshowy hour and a half with nine lovely alpacas and their well informed owner. An opportunity to lesrn a little more about the animals as well as feeding them and, as it was a hot day when we visited, hosing some of them down!

We had a lovely afternoon at Trelawn Alpacas. Glenn is very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The alpacas's environment is beautifully kept and the alpacas are happy and well looked after! We learnt a lot and had a great time feeding and showering the alpacas to keep them cool in the sun!

Thank you for the enquiry. There is a fee of £15 per person and the experience has to be booked in advance. Please have a look at our website for all the information.
There are quite a few other things that are reasonably close by, it really depends what you are looking for.
