hi 6 months ago i would have given this park 4 stars,we used this park alot and enjoyed going there
i took my grandchild last week we went to the lake to see the ducks the five ducks that was there lol
while there we saw the biggest RATS!!!!!! just running around off putting to say the least PLEASE PLEASE CAN SOMETHING BE DONE ABOUT THE RATS............
ALSO THE PLAY AREA FOR THE UNDER 4YRS IT SHOULD BE SECTIONED OFF THE OLDER CHILDREN HANG AROUND WHEN THEY HAVE PLENTY FOR THEIR AGE GROUP
the path ways are very uneven due to roots from trees
THE COUNCIL ALWAYS KEEP THIS PARK TIP TOP BUT SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE
THE CAFE IS A GOOD TO HAVE

Over run with rats, such a shame as it used to be such a lovely park. Heavily littered. Used tampons and condoms litter the children’s park.

We drove from North London and walked around this lovely park,we wanted to visit Prittlewell Priory but it was closed!We will return in the Spring.

Great park, good play park, plenty of open space, little maze and museum. What more can you ask for a free park.
Gets a bit littered but that's the visitors fault as much as those who look after it.
Picnic is great here. Been with group of 29 friends in the summer and can spend all day chilling, playing ball games as loads of space and plenty of parking. Enjoy.

It's a lovely park but sadly has been ruined by all the "crap" hanging in the monkey puzzle tree, which incidentally is endangered! I hope the council dispose of it soon.This poor tree is not a memorial site, there are plenty of other places for that.

I use to visit Southend every year during the six weeks holiday when I was at school till the age of 15. Visiting this place has wonderful memories and it has been kept clean and tidy and is a joy to visit. I am now 56 years old

Great park for a day out with the family would recommend going, the cafe is a bit expensive but nice food.

Love priory park. Been visiting since I was a child. The walled garden is just lovely with the formal bedding plants. Disappointed that the big slide on the hill in the playground has been replaced by a climbing frame. The icing on the cake for my grandson was the massive swarm of rats around the duck pond. Never seen so many rats in one location.

Favourite walk with pooch as much as Garrison as my dog is difficult with too many dogs. Recommend to all for a nice walk with dogs that are shy

Yes there are a few disabled spaces near the Priory, bandstand and gardens but the car park is not huge and it will all fill up quickly on a nice day so best to get there early.
Is it a day ticket lake to be able to fish anyone have any info on the fishing pls
