Sitting in the beautiful rose garden with all the glorious colours and scents is absolutely wonderful. Well worth a visit.

So nice to be able to stop for a coffee and a lovely treat when I go out for my exercise! This is a great place to stop for a bacon roll, a piece of cake or an ice cream (and lots more). Now there are seats and tables (socially distanced of course) for a chat with your exercise buddy and watch the children play and others running around. A regular stop for me - long may it continue.

Been visiting many years, nice park plenty of places to sit down. Can get lunch there and there is peacocks there.

Walked here from Westcliff on Sea and chilled in the park with couple of Pimms from the cafe (lovely but slightly weak). Very popular park with families playing ball etc. Beautiful gardens.

Lovely family park for families of all ages. Clean with tennis, basketball, skating cricket and a small cafe. Good teas and cakes in cafe directly across the road

Always beautifully maintained with fascinating old trees and lovely rose garden. Plenty of open space for children and dogs. Fun to visit when there's a Village Green event going on.

Visited Chalkwell Park during the summer and found it quite a relaxing park and somewhere nice for an evening stroll after work to just take a stroll or to watch the cricket and enjoy the surroundings.
Plenty of spaces to just sit and listen to the birds singing and to perhaps enjoy a family picnic.
My last visit was in September and haven't been back since.
I will definitely be going again in the spring.
Oh and one other thing; There is an annual funfair in August which is always well supported by old and young.

The gardens are badly presented (didn’t used to be) , the pond is a complete mess and the services offered by the cafe in metal are poor value and poor choice, although nice cakes. Selling books is great idea though. The guest author talks are brilliant.

I believe there are some excluded areas such as the tennis courts and children's play area. Otherwise you just need clean up after your dog.

There is free parking with the park and in some of the surrounding roads. I think the entrance is in Chalkwell Avenue, if that is the road leading down to the seafront.
