A brilliant day out and great value for money. It was very well laid out and so much for the children to do. We will definitely be going back.

we visited cattle country on the 13th August. Rather disappointed. Upon arrival showing our booking ref. The young lad who was in the admissions box offered no Information and although greeted us, just scanned the code and let us in.
We didn't really know where we were going or anything that was on that day. It was only when we saw other families feeding the animals that we realised this was an option, I asked a family where you get the food from to which she replied 'the shop' meaning we had to walk all the way back to the start and when we got to the shop realised this is where all the information was, had we of been told this, we would of indeed went here first.
Realistically majority of people wouldn't be goig to the shop until the end of their visit, rather than the start
We then went back to feed the animals and my son spotted a tractor ride, which of course he was desperate to go on, again we had no idea about the tractor ride so again headed back to the shop assuming that would be the place to know.
We asked where we could book the ride, the young lady got a sheet out and explained that the next tractor ride available was 2.30pm. This was at 11.20am, we had already fed the animals and walked around the park. There was no way we were going to stay another 3 hours+.
I explained to the children we couldn't do this, they were extremely disappointed.
Instead we took them to the ice cream counter. We were the only ones at the counter and there were 2 young girls having a conversation who could quite clearly see they had customers waiting but were in no rush at all. They continued to chat and we continued to wait... Finally they decided to serve us, we ordered ice creams for all of us I handed the children the ice creams and they were still talking whilst serving us. There was no communication whatsoever, I placed the correct amount of money on the counter and went to walk off and she then said 'we don't take cash' At this point my children are half way through their Ice creams, I don't have my card, fortunately I could use my apple pay which I am only recently familiar with. I just think this was awful customer service all over. She could of mentioned about it being card only, and there was also no sign which stated this. Id love to know if I didn't have any online cash available would she of taken my children's ice creams off them?
Overall we didn't have a good experience unfortunately and wouldn't be somewhere we would want to come again. The customer service was non existent, I feel the animal food should of been mentioned and be somewhere near the animals. The tractor ride should of also been mentioned at the start as I would have booked straight away to avoid my children's disappointment.

I'm sorry that your day with us didn't quite live up to your expectations.
With regards to the Animal Feed and the Tractor Ride booking information, we no longer give a run-down of what to do where and when at admissions in order to speed up this process. To make our customers aware of the need to get Animal feed and book the tractor before they head into the park we do:
- List full information for these activities on the 'What's On' page of our website, including the location to book and purchase these items.
- Mention them in your visit reminder email: "Please visit our Gift Shop on arrival to purchase animal food and book your Tractor & Trailer Rides".
- We've also got a 1m tall pavement sign outside the shop which you will have passed on your way into the park pointing you into the shop for Tractor Ride bookings.
I'm disappointed to hear that the service you received while buying ice-creams was not up to our usual standard and this will be raised with the relevant management team member.

Spent 11am - 5pm at Cattle Country and I wish we could've stayed longer this was no way long enough for us!
This place is fantastic and I am already planning to go again in the next week or so!
The outdoor splash area was perfect because we were lucky enough to go on a hot day and the kids needed it to cool off. The fact they offer little changing rooms too was lovely.
The 2 play barns are just fantastic and we spent hours in them.
The large sandpit kept the kids occupied for ages.
The trampolines and the pillows were great fun.
The castle was cool and the kids loved exploring it.
The farm animal section was a nice size and we got to see them feeding the pigs which was so cute
So much we didn't get chance to do we didn't make it to the maze.
Shame that the tractor ride and ride on carts are extra charges
Overall we had a great day out we all really enjoyed!

Terrific fun for the kids and adults too. Very much old style fun modernised. Superb play castle and inside soft play barns. Educational tractor ride to see cows and bulls close up. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great family day out, farm side was amazing with various farm animals for your young one to meet! Playground was also really nice. You can spend at least 3 4 hours with your family.

Excellent day out, and kept my family busy all day with all the activities.
Children loved the cow barn, canoes, etc on a lovely sunny day.
The only negatives would be - why charge extra for the tractor ride? And more picnic areas needed, more people bringing their own due to prices.

Great day out with our six and four yr old grandchildren . Enough to keep them busy for a full day out. Plenty of indoor equipment if weather not so good. Would highly reccomend .

This is a children’s wonderland. Everything my son loves in one place - his mind was blown! From the sand to the tractor ride to the animals and playgrounds, it was all his dreams come true. Highly recommended for a family day.

Was so impressed from the moment we arrived everyone was so helpful and friendly. So much to do my 4 year old grandson loved feeding the goats and sheep. The animal petting was excellent set up so well loved the giant Flemish rabbits. Verity on the tractor trailer tour was excellent brilliant knowledge and interaction with the children. Food good. Nice coffee in the cow shed which was also a fabulous soft play and spotlessly clean. Will definitely be returning .

Amazing first visit to Cattle Country. I went with my 9 year old son, there was so much for him to do. The torrential rain didn't stop him! Thankfully it cleared up and he had an awesome time on the jumping pillows and in the splash pool.
Thoroughly recommend visiting, reasonably priced compared to similar local attractions.

Hi the closest Train Station is Cam and Dursley but you will need to pre book a taxi to get here.
Public transport can be very hit and miss, I wouldn't recommend this option.

Is Cattle Country more just for children?
I love animals and me and my partner would like to visit but are unsure if it is just a family/children park.
I also don't want to hog feeding a lamb if there are children wanting to too 😂 // look weird I'm without a child.

Hi, you wouldn't look weird! We feed the cattle up there while the children look at and hold the guinea pigs. When you feed the lambs though it tends to be through a fence and you have a bottle. I think if you asked ie called them they would be happy for the help.
Its a great place for kids and big kids too. All play equipment is also suitable for adults so if you fancied doing the death slide you could :D (we do it, go for it) see if you can climb the net too. And we have had a go on the bouncing pillows! Great fun 👍

Yes. Lidas idea of splitting into groups is a good idea as 70 children in one area would overwhelm the attraction areas and may spoil their and other guests enjoyment. Seven groups of ten would be much better. The park is so large that on arrival if u got park plan in advance you could send groups right to the other end, left and right so they can all enjoy themselves. Check the website for special attractions which may enhance their day. Defiantly let park know u r bringing 70 kids! I'm sure u would anyway. Their is a big undercover pichic area that u could split lunch into 2 groups at different times. Kids might want to bring some pocket money for icecream or tractor ride.
