Not fully open snd very wet, but the kids loved it very much. Glad we got two tickets for £15 deal. The animal barn was very cute and the children could touch the animals, the indoor slide barn was great fun too

Great fun place if you have younger kids.
Very big place so lots to do and you can fill a day.
Food available but they also provided lots of areas to eat your own
Animal handling was good.
Free crazy golf available.
2 indoor play barns and lots of outside play areas.
We had a great time, thanks.
only slight down was the other tourists, some people just dont have a brain, they had been pumpkin picking and they wore their muddy boots all round the indoor play barns etc.
Very big place so lots to do and you can fill a day.
Food available but they also provided lots of areas to eat your own

By far the best farm park that I've been too. There are so many different activities for kids to do including a massive castle-themed adventure playground and two playbarns. The animal viewing is very well done and the pumpkin field was great, if a bit muddy. The only downside was the food which wasn't that great, mostly just fast food.

Drove from Taunton, just over an hour to get there. Left early to avoid traffic and it worked!
Prebooked family ticket so just a quick QR code scan at the entrance to get in. Was Sunday in October so not a big queue.
Would recommend either wellies or spare shoes in the boot for kids. Grass was quite wet. Did see someone slip over wearing wellies in the big castle play area so would be careful there when possible.
Adventure castle is massive!!! And awesome. There are parts some people will struggle to keep up with kids, watch your heads on some stairs/ladders, the covered bridges won't be suitable for people with mobility issues but you could still do enough of the castle to be happy.
Soft play is awesome. Socks are a must. There are parts your kids will probably want you to join in so be prepared for that.
Bouncy pillows were a hit with my kids. Maybe take some baby powder to get odd bits of sand off feet and socks.
Under cover sand play area was great. Sand was nice and dry so no issues brushing that off feet.
Plenty of benches so you can take a picnic if you like. Even a big marquee covered area if weather is not so great.
Good variety of animals to keep kids entertained, but not so much that they will get bored quickly.
Easy to walk round too for kids that get tired quickly.
Already been told we're going back by my kids!
I think there was another play area we didn't get to. Didn't do gift shop or restaurant so unable to comment on those.
Also, splash pool was closed as it was October.
Plenty to do to make a day of it. Was clean and tidy as you can expect from an outdoor experience. There was one spot that had the farmyard poopy smell but only the one spot and it isn't something that you should expect somewhere like this.
Plenty of handwash facilities at either end of the animal interaction parts.
All toilets i used were clean and nicely kept.
Did see a fenced off section where people could make s'mores. Big ones!!! Looked awesome.
Tractor ride looked fun.
Very impressed with it. Kids really enjoyed it too which is always good.
Will be back.

A couple of other dads, their children, my children and I went this Saturday for a dads day and it was great. Lots for the kids to see and do which kept them entertained well up until closing time.
A couple of areas where I think they could make improvements would be more toilets spread around, as it’s difficult having to chaperone your children to the central toilets because as you know, when they need to go then they need to go! Another would be more seating and benches around the site for adults to sit and watch their children.
One criticism that I felt let the park down and I heard multiple other people comment on was the pricing of food and drink. You expect things to be a little more pricey in these places but this was just greedy, for example a tin of fizzy pop was £1.75, or a small burger circa £12.00.

Thank you for taking the time to review. We do compare our prices to other cafes and attractions, and also provide lots of outdoor seating for people who choose to bring their own food and drink. We are about to upgrade our top toilets, and there are new toilets in The Cowshed and Graze Cafe for visitors to use. Thank you for your feedback

Lots of different things to keep children entertained for the whole day - my children are 2 and 4 and both loved it. We stayed 10-4pm.
The castle is too way big for them and they’d 100% get lost, but plenty of other things to keep them entertained.
Downsides - very expensive. Over £40 for me and my kids. The cafe prices are extortionate - £5 for one bagged sandwich & no extras!
The ticket man told me and multiple other people that the animal handling times were 11am & 3pm - I arrived to the barn at 3pm and was told the last handling experience was at 1pm.
The wavy slide in the cow shed was shut for maintenance. The other play barn with the slides is quite rough & grubby.
The staff at the boat ride were totally useless- my friend with 2 toddlers (one of mine) got stuck on the far side of the lake - the staff were asked 4 times to assist them, but they kept letting other customers go on the available boats & ignored me and others asking for help!
The toilets near the entrance are really run down and filthy.
No staff manning the jumping pillows - lots of older children going on the toddler pillow.
No electric ride on cars on either of the tracks outside?
Overall my kids enjoyed it but definitely not worth the money!

The toilets at the top of the park are about to be refurbished, and we do have new toilets in The Cowshed and Graze cafe for visitors to use

Great range of activities for children of all ages. The new cow shed barn and sand pit is excellent. Recently went to a Friday preschool session with my son, really good but would have been nice if Graze was open (heard other people saying the same) as no actual meals available in the barn. Wi-Fi would be a bonus as well.

My 2 year old son was playing in the top barn in the under 5s section with a big inflatable ball and rolled off it banging his back into the wall and cried out on pain I notice on the wall was a sign that was screwed onto the wall the plastic caps that was ment to be covering the screws did not have the cap over the top so dug into his back leaving a outline of a circle ⭕ into his back I told the girl in the barn then went to shop for first aid and fill out accident form and they said they would go look at where it happened but on our way out I went back in to look at where it had happened and nothing had been done I just hope no one else's child gets hurt

We're very sorry that your son hurt himself whilst playing at Cattle Country. The safety of our visitors is our first priority here and having spoken to the team the first aid was dealt with immediately, with the missing screw cap being taped over before it was rectified 15 minutes later. It's disappointing you chose to leave a negative review when we dealt with this issue as quickly as possible

Wow what an amazing place. Spent all day here! Loads to do for children and adults alike! My 5yr old daughter loved everything. Was also great everything included in ticket price as well. We did tractor ride, canoeing all for free!
The soft play area is fab. Staff really lovely and friendly. Special shout out to the two people doing the tractor ride. They were lovely!
Would definitely return. Really fab and one of the best country farm parks we have been to!

Hi the closest Train Station is Cam and Dursley but you will need to pre book a taxi to get here.
Public transport can be very hit and miss, I wouldn't recommend this option.

Is Cattle Country more just for children?
I love animals and me and my partner would like to visit but are unsure if it is just a family/children park.
I also don't want to hog feeding a lamb if there are children wanting to too 😂 // look weird I'm without a child.

Hi, you wouldn't look weird! We feed the cattle up there while the children look at and hold the guinea pigs. When you feed the lambs though it tends to be through a fence and you have a bottle. I think if you asked ie called them they would be happy for the help.
Its a great place for kids and big kids too. All play equipment is also suitable for adults so if you fancied doing the death slide you could :D (we do it, go for it) see if you can climb the net too. And we have had a go on the bouncing pillows! Great fun 👍

Yes. Lidas idea of splitting into groups is a good idea as 70 children in one area would overwhelm the attraction areas and may spoil their and other guests enjoyment. Seven groups of ten would be much better. The park is so large that on arrival if u got park plan in advance you could send groups right to the other end, left and right so they can all enjoy themselves. Check the website for special attractions which may enhance their day. Defiantly let park know u r bringing 70 kids! I'm sure u would anyway. Their is a big undercover pichic area that u could split lunch into 2 groups at different times. Kids might want to bring some pocket money for icecream or tractor ride.
