I booked a caterham from Seven hire as a present for hubby, celebrating 10 years of marriage. All I can say is what a memorable experience it was. The car was exactly what we were expecting and drove like a dream. We both had a fantastic day. Thank you Steve and Paula

Steve and his wife were so helpful with the hire, which I kept as a surprise for my partners 40th. We had the car for four days and it couldn't have been handled better. We were thrilled with the car - we had the best weekend ever whizzing around the cotswolds in it and cant wait to come back to hire a Caterham from them again! SO MUCH FUN! We would really recommend them, a 5* service!

I hired the yellow and black Caterham as a birthday treat for the weekend, and we decided to visit Brecon, staying near Monmouth. I've wanted a kit car for years and being able to spend 2 days living with the 7 was awesome, and has reminded me just how much I want one! Every journey was exciting and felt like an adventure; lowering yourself into the very comfy racing seats, slotting the removable steering wheel on, tightening the 4-point harnesses, clicking the ignition key round then pressing the starter button and setting off. You get plenty of attention from other road users, and pedestrians, the yellow bodywork made the car look amazing in photos too with a sunny Brecon Beacons in the background.
I would totally recommend the trek over to the B4069 from Brynamman to Llangadog, the Caterham was made for this road.
Top tip, if its sunny, take a hat as you will get lobster-face if you get good weather. Also earplugs might make long slogs on the motorway/dual carriage way more comfortable.
Hire one, you won't regret it! When you get back in your normal car, it will feel like everything is connected by rubber bands and jelly, and you'll wish you still had the keys to the 7.

We hired a Caterham for 3 days for a trip to Wales.
I have never driven this type of car so I was a little apprehensive but Steve explained everything very well and put this put my mind at ease.
The driving experience was everything I hoped for: fantastic acceleration and engine sound, open top roof, responsive handling, great body work. A few admiring looks (for the car unfortunately!).
I thoroughly enjoyed it.

What a great way to spend a short break. Driving round scenic North Wales in a Caterham 7. Dad 66 Son 30, we loved it. Such a joy to drive.

What a fantastic treat! For many years I had a cut out page from a magazine saying "hire a Caterham" - well this weekend I did and the experience with Seven Hire and Steve was friendly, professional and faultless end to end. It was a very last minute call but Steve kindly took my calls and emails even late into the evening. The car was beautifully prepared, the paperwork process slick and the briefing thorough (do listen to the extra "tricks" on how to put the hood up!). Over the weekend I and anyone who saw the bright yellow and black supersport didn't stop smiling, these cars really do seem to make people happy! I drove roads Steve recommended into the Cotswolds and explored the villages not wanting to stop at the end of the day. If you need a present for someone or a treat just to have fun, I heartily recommend Seven Hire - have mentioned it to some of my friends already!

HI Robert. Thanks very much for your review, we are really pleased the Caterham lived up to your expectations. I'm glad my briefing was useful also, especially putting the hood up, is's all part of the fun, stuck under a motorway bridge in the pouring rain, trying to put it up. !!!!

First I have to mention that both Steve and Paula are a pleasure to deal with and you can tell their love and passion for the cars from the moment you meet them. They do everything they can to make sure you get as much possible out of the experience.
The car itself was in great condition and they make sure to take you through everything you need to know about the car before you set off.
Tip: if you're short, let Steve/Paula know ahead of time! They'll be able to make adjustments to the car before you arrive. My fiancé (5') struggled with the clutch so she wasn't confident enough to take it for a spin for long - worked out for me I guess as it meant more driving time :)

Hired a Caterham 7 for the day from Steve at Seven Hire and enjoyed every minute. Followed his suggested driving route of the Cotswolds and stopped off in some great villages along the way.
A great way to see the countryside and disrupt the peace and quiet a little too!
Highly recommended

The day was organised by my son as part of his week off, with me as a companion and co-driver. Steve met and greeted us with a smile plus straightforward explanation of T&C's and how to operate the car. particularly the soft top which we had to use. The car was in great order and ran well all day, with both of us sharing the driving on a route that Steve recommended. We had the Roadsport with just 125bhp, which was very quick and a great introduction to this type of motoring, but do remember, these cars are quick, light and need to be respected with their heritage. Well worth the money.

Had a great day in the Cotswolds thanks to Steve at Seven Hire.
The hiring of the car was very easy and simple and Steve was very friendly and easy to deal with.
I would highly recommend this as a great day out.
