My daughters (7& 8) and I really enjoyed completing the junior course today. This place is not overcrowded and we loved the newly refurbished dining area - it's very rustic and creative. Briliant for a birthday party! And parking is free - what a bonus! Good value for money.

We weren’t sure what to expect having been to Go Ape a few months ago however, this was so much better. It’s a huge site, parking is ample and free, there was no queuing, and it’s a pleasant uncrowded outdoor environment to be in. Staff are really pleasant and helpful, the safety briefing is not laboured and straight forward and they’re always around to help if required. As a family with a 9 and 6 year old we did the junior courses, they are awesome; both have 3 zip wires within them and you don’t have to wait around for staff help as they are just part of the course. The rest of the route is challenging but not too demanding for the children - our kids loved it. There are 4 more courses on the site with a minimum age of 10, we’ll definitely be back to attempt those in a month or two after a birthday. In short, a little gem for the whole family which is much better than any Go Ape experience

A big thank you to Ron who looked after my nephew, friend and me last Saterday. My nephew flew around but did admit to being a bit challenged at times. However us two slightly older ladies might have given up at the second activity if it were not for Ron's patient encouragement and assurances. We were also very impressed with the safety procedures and harnesses. I would highly recommend as a brilliant fun day out.

We (two 50+ women) took a 15yr old boy here yesterday. We are not keen on heights and we didn't really appreciate what we were letting ourselves in for!! Ron was an absolute star and gave clear and calming advice all the way round when we were extremely nervous but what an adrenaline rush to do something completely out of your comfort zone! We were so impressed by the safety procedures in place, the stunning location and that there was something for all ages. Huge thanks to the team and to Ben the owner. I am coming back for another go!!

We have just spent the morning at tree runners for Father’s Day. Our eldest son (10) and I did the high course, our youngest (7) and my wife did the junior course. It’s incredibly well laid out, great fun, incredibly safe (we had a brilliant instructor called Fi) and generally a great time. The setting is stunning too in the middle of Harewood Forest, which is one of England’s oldest woodlands. This is a great day out for families - we had a picnic afterwards in the enclosed area adjacent to the courses.

We visited as 2 x families it was a fantastic day out, the course is brilliant the staff and owner are superb, v v helpful and safety was paramount , highly reccommend

Had a party there last year and the staffs were excellent. The seating area is lovely and in a beautiful forest. The courses are brilliant and has varying levels of difficulty

What is the difference between child and adult courses?

Hi Jacquelin, essentially the adults course is tougher and higher, with more elements and ziplines.
You need to be minimum of 10 years old and 1.4 metres tall. The harnesses are also different. The kids course uses a 'Saferoller' system which means you are always connected to the wire. The adults course uses a twin safety line system, which you clip and unclip, which means you always have one clipped on. The FAQs on the website covers a lot of this.
