Fun Day Out

my mother and i visited here whilst staying in the area we bought a standard ticket which entitled us to 5 rides in the funfair the garden miniature railway the quarry railway and a ride on the trailer pulled by a traction engine.we started on the garden railway then we went on the chair o planes which my mother who is in her 70s thoroughly enjoyed i forced her to go with me in the ghost cottage and she screamed all the way thru lol we didnt fancy the banana boats but went on the carousel and we didnt go on the other ride.The quarry railway was good fun did a big loop and stopped so you could take photos of the stunning views of the south downs.Then the traction engine ride which was fun hearing the engine chuffing away.We had a cup of tea and snack in the cafe and mum bought a fridge magnet in the gift shop.Also in the car park was it was next to a field and we petted and fed some donkeys with grass fab day out

Went for Halloween, it was fabulous 👌.
Could not have had a better time. Went last year in the day and this time Went at night. Came here in my childhood but it still holds the magic feeling.

GREAT FUN

My wife and I visited Hollycombe today and we had a great time .We have been going most years for the last 20 years .There has been some of the rides taken away for refurbishing but this year they had the bumper cars which brought me back to my childhood ,smashing into my brothers ( these where defiantly my favourites) The caracal is still exciting and the trains worth going on. Thank you to all of the volunteers who keep it going

What a cracking day out.
Lots of happy volunteers, and great rides and lots to see and do including walks around the gardens and down to the steam farm.

Lovely day out

Lovely day out at the model weekend. Lots to see and do. Apparently it is run by volunteers, and they were all very welcoming and friendly. Loved the golden gallopers.

Excellent Day Out

I organised a visit to Hollycombe for about 15 people and everyone agreed that it was one of our best ever trips.
We were made very welcome and were given an introductory tour of the site where various aspects of its operations were described and it was fascinating to hear the experiences of the various volunteers and to share in their enthusiasm.
There's plenty to do and see for people of all ages ranging from rides on a steam train and a miniature railway, to fairground attractions, various traction engines, a display of working farm equipment from bygone days etc etc and to top it all, a lovely cafe serving food and drink.

Too expensive

Not many rides available , number of rides including rides on the trains are limited now with entry price, expensive for half a day out
£80 for 3 adults and 2 kids

Brilliant find!

Brilliant hidden gem in the Sussex countryside!

We visited Hollycombe Steam Collection on a complete spur of the moment trip, after seeing the sign on a drive back from Goodwood.

Brilliant rides, lovely gardens and tasty food - what more could you want?1

The volunteers were amazing and made us feel really welcome, thanks all for a fantastic day out,

A really fun morning or afternoon out

This is a lovely little place to visit- perfect for a morning or an afternoon. All the volunteers we met- from the train drivers to the ride operators were really friendly. We throughly enjoyed the garden train ride and some delicious candy floss. I think the pricing is very fair and if you look online you can purchase your tickets in advance. The cafe was nice and roomy and tea was spot on. Thank you to all those who work so hard to keep this place going. We really do appreciate it.
