I attended the 5 day throwing course with Jack in August 2020. I can't recommend it highly enough. Jack is a very patient and approachable teacher. His style is supportive, creative and expert and the setting is wonderful. The group was extremely friendly and supportive and provided plenty of space for group and 1 to 1 support. Within a week I had produced a range of cups, plates and vases; not bad for a first time! I'm now hooked and ready to progress with confidence and enthusiasm. Thanks Jack!

Myself and another came to Jack for a 2.5 hour taster session as we had wanted to try pottery throwing for a while and I could not recommend the experience enough!
Jack is a very attentative and friendly teacher and really helps you understand how your actions shape the clay and how to correct any mistakes you might make without ever being condescending or making you feel like a rookie! We both had an object in mind we wanted to make and Jack was more than happy to accomodate and steer our lesson towards this.
The location is fantastic, the value for money is incredible and we're already itching to go back for another session!
