Good points: Great parking. Kids love it. Toilets immaculate. Fab play areas.
Bad points: mindblowingly expensive for a family. The queues - 20 mins a ride for fairly short rides. It’s excessively commercial - eg forced to exit via gift shop.
Really bad point: the “height thing”. If you have a 2yo that’s around 95cm, they’ll say that they’re 1m and try to get you to pay for a ticket for them. Puts you in a really difficult position if you’ve driven 2 hours to get there, already paid £167 for a family ticket and the trip was a reward. Left a nasty taste in the mouth and I consequently spent as little as I could get away with. It’s a shame as we took our twins there and had such fond memories of the place.
Overall: everyone should take their kids there once, but go on a quiet day, go early, take your own food. Decide yourself if you think it’s worth going again. Buy some Peppa branded crisps, drinks etc for the day to take with you. If you have a 2yo that’s over 85-90cm put them in gym daps and change their shoes once you’re past the entrance gestapo!

Took our 2 youngest daughters to Peppa Pig world for the first time today. They absolutely loved it. Queue times were pretty good, longest was about 25 mins which for a 2 year old is just about ok! They enjoyed all the rides in PP world plus lots of rides in Paultons Park too. There’s so much for them to do with the height restrictions being much more forgiving for younger, smaller kids. Our 2 yr old is 93cm and could go on so many things, she had a wonderful time. The ride she laughed on the most was Dino Chase, we had to go on twice in a row!
We got the package deal for 2days in the park & hotel stay and can’t fault anything so far, it’s been a wonderful time.
Looking forward to more fun tomorrow 😁

It’s a lovely park, well maintained and clean and most of the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. However, it’s a bit of a rip off if you have children over 1m in height but under four years old. I have three year old identical twins but at the time of our visit one was just under 1m and the other just over, so only one of them was free. However once in the park we realised the only ride my taller child could go on that my shorter one couldn’t was the Sky Flyer due to the secondary restriction of having to be a minimum of four years old (they would be too scared to go on it anyway). Whilst I appreciate there needs a be a cut off and charging based on age only is unfortunately open to abuse, I don’t think it’s fair to charge children who are over 1m but under 4 years old as it’s a lot of money to go on just one more ride. To compare, I have just purchased annual toddler and adult passes to Legoland Windsor for £98 for all four of us (£58 total for a day visit). The cost for us to visit Paulton’s Park for one day is £167 if booked in advance (£222 on the day!!). Also the doughnuts were extortionate for horrible non fresh defrosted ones. It’s a shame, if it was better value for money we would return.

The queue for rides range from 10-30 mins which is to be expected.
The food outlets once adjusted for inflation are ridiculously extortionate and are card payment only.
The kids seemed to enjoy it just make sure you remortgage before going.

First visit to Paultons Park!
Such a beautiful- well kept park with plenty to do for all ages! The hire buggies were also a fantastic option and both of our little ones enjoyed hopping in to give their legs a rest! General areas + toilets all really clean and the staff were ever so friendly!!
Would have scored 5* however…. We found Peppa Pig world extremely busy. There were 15 minute ques for most (if not all) of the main rides. The Que to meet Peppa/ George was also super long. The same people were still queuing by the time we had gone in and out of soft play.
Due to this - we couldn’t do everything we wanted to as our youngest (2 year old) wouldn’t cope well if we spent more of our day queuing than on rides. It’s also a shame they can’t manage the peppa pig meets better I.e virtual queuing like they’ve introduced to Disneyland- much better for little ones who don’t or can’t stand for an hour in line. Particularly if the weather is hot like yesterday- you could feel yourselves burning whilst standing in the same spot for too long.
However - as a plus to the ques, it made us go explore other areas of the park which we probably wouldn’t have seen if we stayed in Peppa pig world. Our toddlers had lots of fun down by lost kingdom and walking around seeing the different animals. The que times were far better and it felt more laid back elsewhere.
Please don’t be put off going by que times as honestly we had the best day regardless BUT be mindful if your children aren’t the best for waiting. We spent less time in Peppa pig world than in other parts and ours are only 2 + 4. So that’s the reason we went really.
We would definitely return in the future :)

Had a fantastic experience here at Paultons Park, our 3 year old loved every minute of it - mind you so did the rest of the family (two adults and two grandparents)! It may sound pricey but for the money and what you get it is definitely worth it especially compared to some places where you pay nearly the same price and don't get half as much!
The park is massive and there's something for everyone whether its rides for smaller children, bigger children or grown ups. The park is really well laid out and you can go on everything as many times as you like! There are plenty of photo opportunities which is great and when we went which was on a Tuesday during term time there were no queues, I expect it can get really busy at peak times.
We mainly went for Peppa Pig world which truly was magical and unfortunately it was raining on the day but all the rides are weather friendly which means the park doesn't shut even when it rains which is brilliant! There was also an indoor soft play which we went it after we had something to eat (food is pricey as to be expected so I would recommend bringing your own). The toilet facilities were all clean with plenty situated around the park and lots of places to sit down.
I also like the fact that they have animals here which was also really nice to see, plus a train ride that goes around the whole park (my other half loved this more than our daughter did!).
At the end of the day you come to a lovely gift shop with tonnes of lovely things to buy and some of the items were pretty reasonably priced must I add. Overall a great day out that we will all remember, I would highly recommend it to families of all ages.

Great park! We enjoyed our visit to the park. Nice attractions and great theming in the new areas of the park. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the food. There were no long lines and the characters at Peppa Pig World were available all day. Great experience.

Best day as always
Only problem, went out of the way way to get heigh wristband for little one as is shy so hates strangers having to measure her for every ride, but evens with a band stating her height they still insisted on measuring her which was stress, and unnecessary upset and crying for my 2 year old

What an absolute amazing day we had at Peppa Pig World! If you want to do anymore of the park then book two days. All the staff were so friendly at each ride, my two year old managed to go on everything that was there. She did have her height checked on the dinosaur ride but was ok at the 85cm. I would say the shop at Peppa Pig World is better than the main shop which sells all sorts of other characters such as Bing, bluey etc…. at the entrance / exit. Well that is if you only want Peppa items of course. It’s perfectly safe to leave your pushchair at each ride, no one touches it. (After all we are all there for the same reason)

Hi - we are planning to visit Paultons 10 and 11 September - I’ve read a few reviews about issues with wasps at the park - is that still an issue?

We went last week. Peppa pig world has wasps, especially next to the outdoor seating areas and standing in queues, Water kingdom was alright except near bins, Dinosaur kingdom was also bad for wasps.
Hi, we’re going to PP tomorrow and I’m worried about not fitting on a main ride. Are they plus size (18-20) friendly or are there some specific rides I should avoid like the plague?

I would steer clear of the yellow slides with the red boat one where you race, I can’t remember what it’s called but you’ll know what I mean when you see it (lots of stairs to get up) it was a tight squeeze and I’m a size 14. Other than that I think you’ll be fine but we didn’t do peppa pig world. ❤️ enjoy!!

We are visiting next Saturday but are about an hour or so away. Are we best getting to the park for opening or arriving a bit later and staying later? I was just a bit worried about parking if we did the latter...

There is plenty of parking, but if you arrive later you will be right at the back of the car park which is a bit of a walk. I'd arrive at opening, or just before, there is plenty at Paultons to keep you busy from open right through to close - enjoy x

There is definitely coach/mini bus parking. I'd just message ahead to ensure a space.
