We had our wedding at Aldwickbury on 31st August. After visiting a few venues we met with Lisa who instantly made us feel at ease and decided to go ahead and book where and then which we both agree was the right decision.
We cannot recommend Aldwickbury highly enough, from the beautiful venue to the quality of the food and service from their staff.
Lisa was our wedding coordinator/planner and she was brilliant throughout the whole process!
On the day we were looked after by Paige, Kerri and Liz and all 3 of them were fantastic! Anything we needed, we got straight away.
If you are considering this venue for your wedding I would highly suggest you look no further!!

We hired a room at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club for a family celebration. The event coordinator was very accommodating with our meal choices, answered our questions promptly and was friendly throughout our communications with her. The staff team on the day were great - friendly and very efficient and they made sure the event ran smoothly. The food was good and they were happy to accommodate people with food allergies and other quirks. They even offered us the free use of decorations from a previous event! We couldn't recommend this venue more highly.

Played the course as part of a society and hadn't played there before. Course was well maintained and a good test and the pro shop was well stocked and staff therein friendly. A few other issues dented our opinion of the place as we felt we could have been in advance that the bunkers were largely out of play and that the showers weren't working. Whilst nothing wrong with our bacon roll on arrival at all our two course lunch after the round was disappointing. Overall though, it's the golf that matters and, I'd play the course again

We held a family party here to celebrate a 60th and a 21st. It was brilliant! The staff were really helpful, accommodating, attentive and made the whole event run so smoothly. We had over 160 guests but the bar was well stocked and staffed very efficiently so everyone was happy! The events manager was extremely helpful and everything went to plan as we'd discussed. It really was a successful evening and I would have no hesitation in booking another big function here in the future.

We wanted a private room with a lunchtime carvery for a very special occasion. The guest of honour also requested a “proper home-made” apple pie with two cloves in each serving. We needed to amend the date due to circumstances.
The venue was amazing, the tables had been set out and dressed to perfection, we had our own private patio area where guests could enjoy the sunshine.
The food was delicious, well cooked, beautifully presented and served.
The Apple Pie had 2 cloves in each slice - amazing attention to detail!
The wait staff were extremely attentive and very accommodating.
The most important comment I received from the guest of honour was, “this was perfection, just how I had imagined, I couldn’t have asked for anything else.”
The venue was amazing, the tables had been set out and dressed to perfection, we had our own private patio area where guests could enjoy the sunshine.

Aldwickbury golf course has some good strong points but a couple of definitely down points. On the plus side, the greens are great, the club house is friendly and welcoming and the fees quite reasonable.
However, following a good front nine, the back nine feel a bit of a let down, especially the 10th which feels like you’re just playing in an open and uninteresting field. They also feel less tree lined. The back nine greens are still great - and on some holes even more tricky than the front nine.
But the biggest let down were the fairways throughout the course. It has been a very wet February, which could possibly have hampered the management of the course - but sometimes it was difficult to differentiate between the fairway and the rough. And even on a good drive into the middle of the fairway, the ball could be sitting quite ugly. Maybe this will improve through the spring and summer…
Overall - great greens, bunkers and hospitality. If the fairways could be improved, and some of the holes on the back nine made more interesting, then Aldwickbury would a gem of a course.

Thank you for your feedback and I am pleased to hear the staff are one of your plus points about your visit! We have experienced a much wetter than usual start to the year, which we are sure golf clubs everywhere are feeling, but the greenkeepers are working hard to keep the course in top condition and it is great to hear the greens reflect this for you!

We first viewed Aldwickbury for a potential wedding venue, 4 years ago after lock down had just ended. It was bare bones, not even a chair was out. We fell in love with the grounds and the space. We booked our wedding the same day and 4 years later we finally had our day on 25.2.24.
What an incredible day it was! All the staff at Aldwickbury went above and beyond. The venue looked incredible, the food was amazing and the whole day was just as we had imagined, relaxed and stress free.
All the guests had nothing but positive things to say about staff and food.
If you are thinking about having your wedding at Aldwickbury do not hesitate to book. I want to do it all over again..

I just want to say a big thank you to all of the team that helped make my Captain's Leaving dinner so successful. You accommodated late additions, cancellations prior to and on the day and all dietary requirements. The dinner was very successful, the food and service were excellent and a wonderful time was had by all dancing away to The Diamond Years band. Thank you.

From start to finish we had the most amazing and well organized wedding celebration! From the planning to the execution, we cannot fault the wedding team. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, it ran smoothly, there was no request to small or large that the team could not deal with.
All of our guests said it was the best wedding they have been to! The food was brilliant, large portions and good quality. Everything was very very good value for money. I would recommend Aldwickbury as a fantastic place for a wedding celebration or any party. The space is generous and well maintained, extremely clean and accessible for all.
A big shout out to Lisa, Paige, Jacob and Liz for making our day so special.
The DJ was also amazing and kept the party going with fantastic music all night!
Would recommend getting the dance floor as an additional extra as this really brought the room together and photos were amazing.
The grounds are really perfect for beautiful photos, make use of the golf buggy!
A thoroughly wonderful day!

We had our wedding here recently and it was amazing, the perfect day! From start to finish all staff were extremely helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and all worked together to ensure we had our perfect day. The grounds were amazing for our wedding photos and everything ran to clock work. Thank you for making our special day perfect!
