Staff unfriendly. Knowledge of staff was poor. Would not accept me in with my bag. I a disabled person with needs for my medication. Will never support the cinema again.

Spur of the moment decision to go. Staff were very good both selling tickets and checking them. Gave information where to go etc without being asked. The picture was crystal clear as was the sound.
It would've been five stars if the people next to me had refrained from talking and singing along with the film. The film (Perfect Day) was totally brilliant. Really pleased I went.

Been going to this cinema my entire life and it remains the best experience anywhere in the local area. Friendly staff, great screens, great prices. My personal favourite is screen 4 when they show classic films at discounted prices.

Love this place, found it last year after our usual Odeon decided to throw away any kind of service or customer care. Proper old school cinema run by enthusiasts for the community, worth the few mins extra drive to get there. Worth supporting

Travelled an hour to see a film in this gem of a cinema. Friendly staff, clean and beautifully kept building, everything about the experience was great.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Broadway cinema and really enjoyed our visit. It was the 1st time we had been here as we were visiting the town. We enjoyed the atmosphere & the staff were very friendly & helpful. We will certainly visit again.

Broadway is such a beautiful building and it’s so lovely to have it not simply preserved but in proper use.
It’s an absolute pleasure to be able to support a local independent cinema and theatre, particularly when the tickets are reasonably priced, so you don’t feel like it’s costing you a small fortune to do so.

The Broadway cinema in Letchworth is a 4 screen cinema in the town centre. It is really easy to find and after 6pm the car park across the road is free from 6pm so very handy.
When I visited it was a Monday evening and not very busy so I did not need to book a ticket in advance and there were plenty of seats available to choose from.
For me the major plus point was that it is quite a bit cheaper than my local cinema so I will definitely be coming back.
The seats were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Well worth checking out.

Returned to Broadway after a long wait over lockdown and it was as lovely as always. Everything has been laid out clearly to keep to guidelines and wearing a mask whilst watching the film was quickly forgotten. It was a shame to see so few people in the screening as this is a beautiful cinema, but hopefully it will see many more people return soon. I will definitely be back in the very near future

Hi. There is a new Prezzo almost opposite, and further down Eastcheap is L'Artista a reasonably priced and busy Italian. I have been to a few times and always had a nice meal at. If you were happy to drive then Hitchin, which is about 2 miles a way, has loads of restaurants, generally based around the Sun Street end of town centre. It depends what kind of food you are keen on and how much you want to spend. You have The Fox in Willian village (a short drive away from Letchworth town centre-parking a bit of a prob on occasion), or Radcliffe Arms in Hitchin but out of town Centre- higher end- and probably need to book! The Hermitage in Hitchin is owned by same people as The Fox- high end, is also a very popular bar at weekends! Lovely Turkish at end of Sun Street in Hitchin-been there a few times called Mevan Ocakbasi. Enjoy!
