Partly well kept but in other places a little overgrown, also the maps are faded and mostly unreadable, which is a shame. Luckily for us, some locals gave us excellent directions. Worth a visit, as it’s free to visit, lots of space for walkers, or cyclists.

Absolutely lovely place for a walk, picnic or a spot of wildlife spotting. The lake even has a gated area for dogs to play in the water away from other users. Lots to see in the form of wildlife from fish to ducks and even rabbits etc. Amazing greenery with lots of different plants and trees for shade on hot days or even good for a nature walk.

Easy to find and park the car. Lovely views, nice walks. Dog friendly. Nicely maintained. Really enjoyed our visit.

Called here for a change and found car parking erounous and the amount of dog poo and dog be poo bags is ridiculous not looked after very well disappointed

Lovely walks with the dogs, especially liked the fenced off part where the dogs can go free.

Saw the park as we were traveling to the beach. Checked it out on Google and saw the dog swimming area so we had a look
Our dog must have thought this was the equivalent of a Waterpark.

Really nice park, relaxing and calm place to go nearby shops and good amount of parking especially now they have refurbished it so you don't get your car muddy 😂

I went here for the free Saturday 5k run for the parkrun. It was one of my favourite locations so far for me to do a parkrun. It has a great course and the volunteers are very nice. The park is great with a nice lake and a public footpath going right round it.

I came here for a parkrun and the park was very beautiful. There was good walks and there is a big car park. You can get a very good picture and this is a place for anyone.

Pleasant wild parkland walks of varying difficulty for all the family. Plenty of seating and picnic areas overlooking the lake. Only let down by lack of signage to indicate which route to take. Also toilets still closed presumably because of COVID.

What type of fishing licence do you need, is it the one for ponds, lakes and reservoir or the other one for rivers streams drains and canals? Environment agency says the river streams and the resort hub says ponds and lakes. I know I need a separate permit. I'm trying to buy as a birthday surprise and want to make sure I buy the right one, thanks

Hi, I walked through the housing estate leading to the park and around the lake and I did not see any toilets of café. The boating lake which is a 5 minute drive away did have both.

The gates to car park close at dusk, but access on foot or bike can be made at other non vehicle points around the park, go to North East Lincolnshire council website for more information.

DN35 0PB I think there are toilets but no cafe. But a bit further down the road is a pub selling carveries etc, there are two fish and chip shops nearby (one with a cafe) and you are about a mile or so from Thorpe Park and Beacholme holiday parks ... hope this helps
