Fantastic party and brilliant interaction from Helen and the other staff looked after everyone food was good all children enjoyed the party nothing was too much trouble

Fantastic service. Very friendly and engaging staff. The food was lovely and served promptly. Facilties were fab which my little one enjoyed thoroughly.

Clean friendly environmemt, very efficient turnaround even tho there was a large party. Food hot and delivered quickly, and a good time had by all thank you. Staff as always exceptional

Amazing experience! Visited with family for a meal. One staff member stood out above all else which was Natasha. Going above and beyond expectations. She's friendly, polite, professional and made sure our visit was enjoyed by all. The food was great but the service from Natasha is what excelled for us! Will definitely visit again. Our rating for the food was 10/10, our rating for Natasha and the service she provided was a stand out 11/10. Would highly recommend

Food has improved immensly since my last visit some years ago. Would go back again. Soutbern fried chicken skewerz cooked to perfection, tasty and moist. Great choice of how to have chips, salsd fresh. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

I met my wife for lunch during our breaks from work on a Friday. We got seated and looked at the menu. There is plenty to choose from, however on a Friday they have an offer of Buy One Get One Free on their Burgers (they have many other offers through the week) so we both chose the Chicken Burger that comes with cheese, Hash Brown and Gravy. We also both had a side, Macaroni Cheese for my wife, and some cheesy chips for myself. Due to the offer and the fact they also offer a Blue Light discount, we both had our mains and sides for just over £15, an absolute bargain. Soft drinks were of course on top of that, but still, for a quick lunchtime bite, very reasonable.
All the staff were polite and friendly.
We have been over the years many times, it is looking a little tired in places so a spruce up or refurb wouldn’t go a miss, but it’s also not all that bad for a pub chain and the amount of customers it must have through its doors each week.
My only little niggle, is that although there was plenty of staff about, only one seemed to be serving the bar taking food and drink orders, so there was a little wait, other than that it was spot on.

Thank you for your feedback, we are always most grateful to have it, depending on orders in the kitchen we will sometimes slow down how many orders are being taken at the till, otherwise this put extra pressure on the kitchen, then service can feel very different for all involved and we try to prevent that.
We’re delighted you loved the Friday offer of Bogof on our burger range it’s a great offer.
It’s been about 8 years now since we went Hungry Horse, on the whole we do try our hardest to keep on top of the standards and look after the pub as we really care about it, but we hear what your saying 😊 Thank you again, hopefully next time we can tip you over to a 5 ⭐️ 🙏
