Went in on the off chance looking for a sweater for my partner in local wool. Found this place with a delightful lady behind the counter. She kindly Helped me choose an excellent unique cardigan in local British wool and was friendly and engaging throughout. We need to support local enterprises such as this a they are far more interesting than the average high street store!

What an amazing team. Helene, the owner and Emma the manager are professional but just so friendly and helpful. Also the lady who usually works a Sunday who was also amazing. Bought three British made wooden jumpers, they are beautiful. Thank you so much for all your help. Hope to visit again soon. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this fabulous upmarket shop packed with independent and individual Yorkshire sourced products. Great range including bath and body products, home fragrances, Jellycats, novelty mugs and some of the most hilarious greetings cards ever!. As well as premium quality local sheepskins, of which I have a few. Helen, the owner, always goes above and beyond to help with any specific needs. A great asset to the array of marvellous independent shops in Hawes.

First off this visit was with my elderly parents. I stress elderly parents because this is the main focus of my review. My mother is in her eighties and has Alzheimer's. During our visit, my mother picked up a Christmas decoration from the bowl the business had them on display. A small glass bowl was on the same shelf close to the edge. If fell and broke. I understand this may have needed to be paid for, but the sales assistant or owners attitude was appalling. She has absolutely ZERO understanding of my mother condition. If you are in a customer service occupation, you should have the skills and understanding to handle this kind of situation. This is the only memory my mother has of the week we stayed in Hawes. I am disgusted with how the situation was handled by the business. Both my father and I attempted to assist with cleaning the broken glass. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

What a fabulous experience we had when we popped in here. The lady was absolutely lovely and so helpful, even taking the time to give us information on where to visit/stay with our motorhome. The more you look the more you see : ) ...... highly recommended if your looking for authentic sheep skin rugs, so much choice. Thank you for your kindness today.

Could not believe the prices in this place loads of lovely stuff but priced way above true retail price . Clearly to catch unsuspecting tourists we went down the road to another shop and purchased some wonderful gifts with out spending a fortune.

This small shop stocks a large range of quality gifts and cards, and it’s very difficult to leave empty handed. We treated ourselves to two sheepskins after knowledgeable advice from the helpful owner.

such a lovely place, beautiful things to buy and such a lovely lady serving. We called in yesterday (Sunday) during our short stop at Hawes and found this gem of a place. My friend made a purchase and I found a present for my friend but didn't want her to know, so the lovely lady was so discreet in wrapping the present up along with something else I was purchasing that my friend did not notice. so thoughtful. Many thanks

This is a lovely shop, full of interesting things to buy and a wonderful place to browse. We were served by Helene, a delightful lady who really couldn’t do enough to make our shopping experience memorable. I left the shop with some lovely gifts to take home, all beautifully wrapped by Helene.
