We chose to to the river trip all the way up to the newly renovated chain Bridge. This excursion isn't on often as they need to wait for the correct tide, so if you see it available go for it! We has a beautiful day seeing wildlife, historical buildings (and the Bridge of course!) And beautiful countryside. Lots of interesting commentary to explain the sights as well as comfortable seats, an indoor space if your cheeks get a bit cold, very clean and well kept boat. Looking forward to another trip later in the year, always hopeful to see the dolphins!

What a rare treat - not only grey seals, Arctic terns, herring gull, but a real highlight - bottlenose dolphins....!! Lovely views of Berwick Town from offshore, too.

Known about the Berwick boat trips and eventually booked my bridges and castles tour for me and my nephew,very friendly informative staff,super clean quiet boat and great commentary on the tour about wildlife and buildings and obviously the bridges,it was great seeing Berwick from a boat such a relaxing journey loved every minute,if your in Berwick or visiting this tour is a must cannot recommend enough 👌😃

Came across the boat trips by chance while out a walk and decided to book the river/bridges trip for the following day. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, great commentary and lots of information. Would highly recommend., great value.

We booked a boat trip on the last day of our holiday in the Berwick area. It was originally intended to be an Estuary trip but weather conditions prevented the boat from leaving the harbour and the trip was re-routed along the Tweed. It was unfortunate that we were unable to see seals and dolphins but the trip under the bridges and along the river gave us the opportunity to see herons and cormorants. The commentary was helpful and informative. Well worth the money and a great end to our holiday.

We decided to do the estuary boat trip which lasted 1 hour. I had a few queries before booking as I have some mobility issues and these were answered quickly and very reassuring. The trip takes you out into the North Sea so can be a bit bumpy but we did have beautiful weather and always felt safe. No dolphins but saw a few seals & birds. A very enjoyable trip and if visiting again would do the bridges your ( hubby says no more North Sea ! 😅)

While on a week long family holiday to Berwick upon Tweed we took a walk along the quayside (with free parking for a couple of hundred cars for up to 24 hours, best before 9am in our opinion) and by accident discovered Berwick Boat Trips.
We opted for the hour long boat trip down river and out to sea, probably a mile or 2 max as it was hard to judge.
We booked for the 11am trip at 10.45 online, arrived at the launch 10.55
The boat arrived 5 after 11 and 10 mins later we we're sailing down the estuary past the lighthouse.
The captain gave light hearted but informative commentary as we went along.
2 adults and 2 teenagers for an hour or so cost £42.00 which seemed fair.
The boat carries approximately 40 people seated but you we're allowed to walk around from aft to stern and port to starboard throughout.
There is a basic toilet on board but basic is a good description. There were no refreshments, although a couple of extra quid could have been easily extracted.

We took a trip up the river, going under the 3 bridges and out into the countryside. Didn't see any animals but lots of birds. Comfortable and spacious boat that felt very safe.

Our second trip. Knowledgeable and calm staff, saw a variety of seabirds, grey seals and dolphins.
Trip lasted longer than stated so we could enjoy the dolphins for longer.
