We visited the farm during the scottish October week. We initially went to get lunch while on a break in berwick but the cafe was closed for season when we arrived. However the lady working there was kind enough to show my children some of the bees which kept them entertained. The shop is just beautiful with lots of produce from the bee farm. I bought some mustard which was delicious and hand ointment thats amazing. Lots of well explained information on bees🐝. The grounds are a kids and grown man's playground, lots of farming equipment and old double decker bus to explore. It's also a good spot to walk down to the chain bride, 5 minute walk. All in all a very worthwhile visit.

This is the fifth time that we have visited Chainbridge Honey Farm, it is a cracking day out for the family, this is the first time that the cafe bus has been open as it is usually a bank holiday when we visit. The range of Sandwiches is extensive and we were spoilt for choice, there is also a decent range of cakes, crisps and biscuits to choose from, the cafe bus is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
The toilets are immaculately clean.
There is a makeshift transport museum here with a decent selection of vehicles on display but not much information about them.
The honey farm was also like a museum with lots of photos and information about the history of the Honey Farm and the beekeeping industry, the shop is well stocked and definitely worth a visit.
The beekeepers garden is a must if you are a keen gardener, all the plants are clearly labelled so you know what they are.
All in all a great day out for the whole family, I have actually paid to go into worse places.

The honey farm has a very interesting set of displays to explain the process of how bees make honey as well as a bit more detail on the Chain Bridge. There is also a pleasant honey garden and a display of all sorts of tracked farm vehicles. You can finish off with tea and cake on an old double decker bus.

Visited the double decker bus cafe this week for lunch.
We had tuna mayonnaise sandwiches, fruit scone and tea. All absolutely delicious.
Staff were all really friendly and helpful.
Will definitely return and recommend to others.

We had a lovely afternoon here - it's delightfully quirky and a real pleasure to visit a place that's not over commercialised. The honey and bees exhibition is beautifully done and fascinating. Don't miss the vintage exhibition which is well worth exploring too.
Ideally, go on a day when the cafe on the double decker bus is open - great fun, and a delicious selection of cakes.

Just up the road from the union chain bridge, free parking, play area for children and toilets. Also ha a cafe and picnic area. Interesting information about bee keeping and historical information about the bridge which is in walking distance. As is a river walk along the aTweed. Definitely worth a visit.

We came here about 15 years ago on holiday and it was amazing, boy has it gone downhill, small shop with not alot to sell and that's it really, oh besides some machines tractors to look at, shame really as it was once a thriving place.

An amazing discovery right on the Scottish/English border. Huge collection of agricultural vehicles and tools (some very old) in verging states of repair, plus the honey farm, lovely gardens and outdoor cafe based in a double decker bus. The definition of quirky eccentricity and all the better for its individualism! Excellent coffee served by a friendly team with lots of tempting baking and sandwiches on offer. Will definitely visit again as there is so much to see!

Most interesting place to visit and learn about bees the plants in the garden were also very interesting.Morning coffee on the bus with a scone was excellent.

Great little place to visit. Small museum of honey making and photography exhibition. Some vintage vehicles as well and another small exhibition of vintage artefacts. Free to visit (donations welcome). You can also take a short walk to the Chain Bridge and walk into Scotland. The honey is very tasty as is the honey ice cream.

It sounds to me as written that rachelburgess75 opened a sealed product and was duly chastised by a protective employee. Court rules in favour of the employee. Bad customer.
