Thank you David and Amy for a fantastic day yesterday.
We had a fabulous time flying your lovely birds and for all the knowledge about them that you shared with us. We learnt so much about owls and hawks and appreciate all the information you gave us. We would recommend this experience to anyone as we really enjoyed our time spent with you, the 3 hours went so quickly. We could see how much care, love and kindness you showed to your birds, so thank you again for a great day out. Angela & Phil

We organised a private 3hr experience. It was quite difficult to arrange a date as they (understandably) don't fly the birds during moulting season and then the weather was too poor and we had to change dates.
If you're just looking for a chance to interact directly with a lot of birds this probably isn't the experience for you. Stroking them is not good for them which I didn't know before coming here. If you're looking to learn LOADS of really interesting things from people who take pride in truly caring for the welfare of these birds, then it is. It was great fun being able to 'fly' both a barn owl and a falcon and have them eat from my glove. Thank you very much for a memorable day. :)

This is such a lovely experience. We got to see three birds and fly two (owl and Harris hawke) Dave and his team are really knowledgable and friendly and is so clearly passionate about his business. I’d definitely recommend this experience to anyone interested in birds and seeing these beautiful animals up close. We bought our tickets for a 2hr experience from Groupon and it was an absolute steal. A really nice way to pass an afternoon.
I’d firmly recommend good bottom shoes like wellies or walking boots for the field part as it was a bit muddy, and definitely bring a coat.

Booked the 3hr experience for my wife's birthday and wasn't disappointed. David has a real passion and a wealth of knowledge about each and every bird. Scout the Harris Halk was the star of the show and the halk walk is a must. Thanks David for a great day! James and Katie

Maybe it was just not what we were expecting but it seemed to be full of talk and not very much action. After an hour, we were still sat on a bench listening to a talk. We are both teachers so we know that talking at people for a long time allows nothing to go in. I was bored within 10 minutes and when we finally got to see something fly, we got 2 turns each. Then we had a break and then came back to a long winded talk about the other birds and then the hawk walk, which was basically walking around a car park. Not what we expected and maybe falconry just isn’t for us but it was boring and far too much talking.

Both myself and my partner loved the experience. They were very informative and enthusiastic and allowed us to fly this beautiful bird. We assisted with flying a Hawk named Tora (can't for the life of me remember the type of hawk). We managed to capture some amazing photos and videos. Highly recommend doing this.

Me and my husband went for the Hawk walk experience today. We didn’t really know what to expect so we were delighted when we realised we were actually going to have a Harris Hawk out with us and landing on our gloved hands to feed. The hawk was named Scout and he was incredible! Thank you Dave and Amy, your knowledge and enthusiasm shone through, we could really see how much you love doing this and how much you love the birds. We would absolutely recommend this experience. Thanks for a great experience! Jayne and Steve Knight ❤️

Visited this falconry centre, and had an absolutely excellent day.
Both handlers were so experienced and knowledgeable.
Hands on experience, and any questions you had were answered.

Amazing experience. Handlers were very knowledgeable and made a special effort to get to know all of the people in the group. Very entertaining and we got to hold and fly a good variety of birds. Thank you, we had a great day.

Weather was hot as forecast but unfortunately we were told too hot for the birds to be out flying, in my opinion should probably have cancelled before the day.
We were able to look around the aviary’s and learnt bits about each bird but wasn’t quite the hands on feeding/handling/flying we were all hoping for.
The barn owl flew to each of us eventually which was lovely but even then it was quite a challenge to get it to want to do that.
Sadly I wouldn’t recommend the experience based on today however I’m sure if you picked a day that was not hot, rainy, windy, foggy or snowy you’d be ok!
