We haven't been to the Rose Theatre for years. We went to a mid-week matinee which was packed with many large groups of school children. They were pretty well behaved but maybe best avoided in future? The space is comfortable and the views of the stage from the stalls were good.

My friends and I attended the talk/presentation that Major Tim Peake conducted.
It was truly an enthralling presentation about space and generally about what lead him to point of becoming an astronaut.
We had good views despite being in the upper circle/gallery area. The space has good sound so you don't feel like you are missing anything.

Just saw Mirror Cracked and thought I’d got very good seats on row B. How wrong was I. The stage must have been raised since I went last and I couldn’t see anything below the knees of the actors. I’m surprised that they chose to elevate the stage that much and still sell tickets that are not cheap but have very poor view. I’m all for supporting local venues but I doubt I will be back any time soon. I’m really sorry.

Great George Michael Fast Love tribute show. Poor seating with very limited keg room at the front row upper circle.

Just been to see this year's Christmas show at The Rose, A Christmas Carol, and it was amazing. I took my three daughters, 15, 13 and 10, and we all absolutely loved it. From the acting to the singing to the stage design, the show is brilliant, moving and joyful. Due to the themes, it's probably best for 8 years and up. If you're still looking for some entertainment over Christmas, go to the Rose, you won't be disappointed.

Saw the Caucasian Chalk Circle play.Arrived early and had a coffee in the bar.Staff were friendly and whilst a fairly small theatre,the seats were comfortable and all had a good view of the stage.Very enjoyable evening.

Saw Persuasion. It was dreadful sadly as I love this theatre. Terrible costumes, pointless music, strange modern version. I felt the audience were laughing in incredulity at times. Waste of money and time. It seemed to miss the point of the story on so many fronts.

Relatively small theatre in the market area of Kingstown on Thames. It’s in the more recently developed areas and a good addition to the town.

For one man shows stand up etc go with the stalls; for big band and big productions go for circle. Beware that they sometimes just put out cushions on the floor at the front and sell those as ‘seats’.

There is a small car park at the rear of the Theatre, never had a problem parking there, but get there a good hour or more before the show starts as it will get full. It’s a pay and display

Yes. There is a lift for wheelchairs and very helpful staff to assist with correct route to cafe. (The lift is set back, so easier to ask those who know)
