We booked in for a Christmas meal with a group of friends. It was busy which is good to see.
Service was good albeit the food was slow because it was busy, the girls did apologise for the wait. The food was brilliant, everyone was happy.
I had the Christmas platter which was different, they also do a good Guinness!

Not overly impressed with the service, but the food, when we eventually got it, was very good. Such slow service that we didn’t bother with pudding as it was getting too late! Would like to try again sometime to see if they can do better.

Family get together, service absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive,valued for money,clean and outstanding on everything,if you want a venue to full fill your expectations,cannot recommend enough.

Lived in the area for a year & this was our first time here. Can't believe we've been missing out. The layout & atmoshpere in the pub is so lovely. Big & spacious pub but feels very cosy & comfortable at the same time. It was burger night and the selection on the menu was amazing. We both had gorgeous homemade burgers. The staff were so friendly, no problem walking in without a booking and not rushed during our meal. We can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. Looking forward to some cosy winter evenings by the fire!

We regularly enjoy the food, drink and atmosphere at The Crown Inn and last night, after a perfectly cooked salmon steak, I was lucky enough to sample their new dessert - Pineapple fritter with cinnamon sugar and coconut ice cream - the most perfect crunch and delicious combination of flavours!!! Definitely my new favourite!

I love this pub. The food is so good and I very much appreciate the playground, it keeps the kids happy so we can relax! The staff are fantastic, especially Amelia and Jamie on the bar.

Upon entering the pub, there is someone to greet you. Jake, Jay and Emily were front of house on the day my friend and I went for lunch.
Restaurant is a 'wow' as a first impression, all tables really nicely presented.
Staff so very helpful and attentive, nothing too much trouble.
Food was great, my friend had the fish pie which she really enjoyed and I had the chicken, bacon and mushroom pie, which had so much flavour.
We weren't rushed to finish/for our table.
A really, enjoyable experience - ticks all the boxes.
A really lovely menu with lots to choose from so we'll be coming back.
Well done all at The Crown!!

I am a returning customer to this pub, a beautiful venue with plenty of contrasting space; excellent garden with plenty of area. Instead has ample space without feeling too crowded.
Staff are always on the ball helping with all needs.
Food I have to say; I’ve tried most of the menu even with it being switched up and updated. The food is consistently delicious. Not once have I ever even considered returning or turning my nose at a dish. Can really tell the owners, chefs and other staff take care in what they do.
Definitely a place for a family meal and it’s dog friendly!

Just home from a fabulous lunch at The Crown. Good food and great service, especially considering how busy it was today, being Mother's Day. Definitely recommended!

Hi ChristineLynn53, Yes we are a dog friendly pub, although dogs are not allowed in restaurant unless they are a guide dog.
We have plenty of tables for dining or popping in for a drink, look forward in meeting your pooch.
