Of the 3 short walks from the visitors centre I found this the least interesting.
It’s largely on boardwalks and more away from the lake. Some wooden info boards along the way.
If your rushed for time this is the one to miss.

This is one of 3 short walks from the Visitor Centre and it's worth doing them all as a 90 minute circuit.
Along the way you will see rivers, ferns, rainforest, tall trees, and if you're lucky, echidnas and platypus.
The first part up to Watersmeet is wheelchair friendly and anyone can manage this, but after that the track becomes narrow and little more challenging.
Skip Platypus Bay if you want to save time, as it as the least interesting part of the walk.
A great introduction to the park for any level of fitness.

Ein kurzer Kulturweg, der nahe beim Lake St. Clair Visitor Centre beginnt und ein paar Geschichten von Aboriginals erzählt. Leider erfährt man jedoch nicht viel über die Ureinwohner und der Weg bietet auch wenig Abwechslung durch den Wald. Man kann sich den Weg sparen und stattdessen die Zeit am See geniessen. Diesen sieht man auf diesem Trail selten bis nie.

Great short walk for those short on time or fitness. The easy walking track meanders through a number of different types of vegetation communities, and there is abundant wildlife (mostly birds) to watch and listen to as they flit through the shrubs and trees. Take it as fast or slow as you want!

An Aboriginal cultural walk that is about a one hour walk from the Lake St Clair visitor centre. There is an informative brochure available from the centre which gives you the historical context for the walk.

Lovely walk, beautiful landscape and boardwalks, i went in winter there was frost in some places, then warm dry bushland, then green temperate rainforest. Didn't see another walker, so very peaceful in winter.

This walk has some information about aboriginal culture. There wasn't as much information as I expected but was still a pleasant walk.

The Aboriginal Cultural Walk was a nice easy, 4km nature walk with a few interpretive signs about the local flora, fauna and human history. Unfortunately, the signage doesn't offer a lot of detail about the Aboriginals of the area...
The 4km Platypus Bay walk offers some nice shoreline views and lots of interesting signage on the Platypus. There area couple of built up wildlife hides (hidden lookout points), from which to scan the waters below. While we were a little too far away for my liking, our patience paid off and we spotted a lone platypus with our binoculars and 300mm camera lens. We spent about 1.5 hours leading up to dark, sitting waiting, and finally watching this rare and elusive creature!
Once the monotreme was sighted, we watched as it would float on the surface for 10-30 seconds, swimming in a straight line, before then disappearing beneath the surface, to reemerge some 30-60 seconds later. What a pleasure to watch!
