如果你在这个地区，这绝对是你必须要做的事情！这次旅行棒极了，而且价格合理。（成人20块/每人）45分钟。导游Dawn用一种容易理解的方式解释一切。我们进入玛拉库坝洞穴。距离摩尔溪资讯中心仅20分钟车程。一年中的这个时候有很多萤火虫，导游告诉我们这是一个迹象，表明夏季月份对更多萤火虫来说是非常好的。洞穴办公室并没有惊人的标识，但你只要沿着路标后的小路走，你会到达那里。

摩尔溪洞穴是必来景点。这些洞穴和萤火虫真是太美了。我们的导游 Aaron 很好，知识面广且热情，我们的旅途因为有他而好很多倍。如果你喜欢探索自然的美丽，这里正适合你。

如果你喜欢大自然，想看到大自然的杰作，一定要看看这些洞穴。售票处在半路上，那里有洗手间，工作人员一直面带微笑，很热情。这趟旅行要花上一个小时，因为信息量很大，导游花时间解释了所有的事情，并愿意回答你可能有的问题。在洞穴附近或任何地方都没有厕所，也没有杂货店，所以你可能买不到瓶装水。我爸爸不能走很多楼梯，也不能走得太久，但感觉这里很好。我强烈推荐这次旅行。这里有2个洞穴，所以一定要问工作人员有没有折扣！

算是意外之喜，下面的钟乳岩都保护的很好很好，很细的在生长。有两个洞穴，讲解员很认真，第一个是钟乳垂下来的加上萤火虫，第二个是像所罗门宝藏一样的闪光，还尝试了把灯都关掉后，一片漆黑，真的是没有一点点光线，很美妙的体验。

洞穴上下落差大，非常壮观，而且钟乳石及洞内生态都保存得很好。当导览员关闭洞内路灯，没有任何光线、伸手不见五指，可以看到壮观数量的萤火虫停在钟乳石洞上。为了避免 Mole Creek 钟乳石洞被众多的游客或灯光破坏，这里采预约制并由导览员带往参观。洞穴中阶梯多、有些地点灯光昏暗、而且也有狭窄的地方需要弯腰行走，若行动不太方便较不适合参观。

I intend to bring my mum who's 82, she walks slowly and too many steps might be a little much for her. Is the mole creek tour suitable for seniors like her?

The tour is around 45 mins- 1 hour so allow yourselves an hour and a half - 2 hours to look around. You also have to take into account the time you may be waiting for your tour to begin and the walk from the ticket office to the cave location.

The one near Mole Creek is beautiful, lots of things to do around the area too. Call ahead to confirm whether they're open.
the guided tour itself was about 1 hour long, buy your ticket at the on site office, leave your car there, then walk to the entrance and wait for the guide.

Hello, I would like to join a combined Cradle Mountain and Mole Creek tour departing from Launceston, can someone help? Right now I can only find Cradle Mountain tours but not a combined one. Many thanks!

Hi. I doubt you will get one tour that does both as they are about 90 kms apart and either one from Launceston would be a full day. But try contacting a tour organiser in Launceston rather than looking on line as they may offer purpose built tours.

How long would it take to do the 3 caves? What is the difference between the 3? Are they close together or apart? I have 4 energetic children 17 - 23 - if had only time for 2 which ones?

I would allow about 45 mins per cave tour, as this does depend on the number of people in each group with larger groups taking a bit longer to negotiate the areas in the cave; this is because of making sure everyone moves safely, stays together and can see the sights properly. The two Marakoopa cave tours are on basically the same site and the distance between King Solomon's Cave and Marakoopa is about 12 kilometers so it doesn't take long to get from one to the other. They are quite different. Marakoopa caves are more open and easy to walk through, with specific features such as glow worms and running underground rivers, but King Solomon's is in a lovely bush setting and striking in appearance within the cave. King Solomon's is quite narrow in places however, and could be difficult for people of larger build to negotiate. If time is a real issue you could see more at the Marakoopa site in a shorter time, but if you can travel, the contrast between the two is interesting. They are all beautiful in their own way so whichever you choose, I think you will enjoy it.

If you have a good camera, (not a phone) but a good DSLR set it to' candle' or ultra low light,and bump up the ISO for the Mole Creek caves where discreet lighting shows the formations to their magical best.

Hello all, I'm trying to work out my timing for our trip. How much time should I allocate for Mole Creek if we are planning to see both caves? The wildlife park is probably not for us, but we might do a walk or two. Thanks for your help. :)

I think the tour was about an hour. did not look at the second cave. you may need to check times as there was no one there when we got there and had to wait about an hour.
