I started visiting Swings-N-Things over 20 years ago when my children were young. We went there yearly and had a great time. This time it was with my grandchildren and daughter (who also has fond memories). In this day and age when everything is expensive, this was a great valued place for children and adults. The day we went they were not crowded (as the local children were in school) allowing for very short lines. Even with a small crowd, all the attractions were attended, and we didn't have to wait due to no one available to run the attraction. All the attractions had well maintained equipment. The park itself was well maintained and clean.
Even inside with the Electronic games was a pleasure. Unlike some places, a 50 dollar game card lasted us about an hour, with the children taking home some nice prizes. It lasted a bit longer as we were also attending during their happy hour where the attractions were half priced.
Just FYI, they offer Military Discounts for single attendees. If purchasing online, they offer a family 4 pack and a good rate. While we did not eat or drink there, we did notice that those who purchased food, appeared to be well satisfied and from a quick glance the food was plentiful.
In short, even after 20 year the place is still a great place to go. I hope to bring the children back next year.

Great for kids. Not for adults. Free for all of poorly behaved children and employees that don't seem to care. I get it to a degree it would be a hard job to 30 working and take much pride.

My husband and I came for a date night and enjoyed the go karts and batting cages. You get about 5 1/2 minutes for the go karts. You buy tokens for batting cages and you get so many pitches for each token. They also offer a military discount! The 50mph baseball cage was pitching super low but other than that we had so much fun! They have mini golf, indoor arcade, paintball, outside laser tag, etc. They make their own ice cream so we enjoyed that. Great place for date night and family fun, birthday parties, etc.

This place is just okay. They have many different activities but they lack in customer safety and service. I have an elementary school child so I’ve been to these types of places all over the country. My go- kart experience was terrible. Kids were bumping in to other cars while racing the track, I told the employees and they did nothing- they told me to keep racing and did nothing to prevent anyone else from getting bumped. They did manage to rescue a cell phone that somehow landed on the track. So thank god for that. The mini golf was okay. The arcade was okay but many of the games didn’t work or were in bad shape. My child had fun but it’s not worth the money or time. I would go somewhere else.

Swing-N-Things is a good place with a few fun attractions. However, the go-karts are only one course (excluding the little kid version), the outdoor laser tag was nothing remarkable and actually was a bit boring, and the min. golf is like most courses. It's a good place to spend a few hours. Mondays were a lot cheaper than the other days--not mentioned on the website. But, there was nothing great or remarkable--just like a lot of other places.

We decided to take my son there as an "almost the end of summer" adventure. We decided on playing putt-putt first. The first thing we noticed when arriving was the HUGE sign they had about being polite and kind to their workers. Apparently someone had been rude, and SNT decided they needed to tell EVERYONE about it. I felt it was unnecessary, but whatever. We went out to the back to purchase our putt-putt tickets. The lines that they have are set up in a manner that seemed to confuse several other patrons. You have to buy a ticket at one window, and then give that ticket to someone in the other window to get your clubs and ball. Seems like they could save some hassle by just having one window to purchase and get everything at it instead. Many other people stood in the wrong line originally, and then complained when they were told they had to once again stand in a different line. We read the (slightly smallish) sign and understood how the process worked, so we got in the correct line. There was another large sign outside reminding people of being polite. After getting our clubs and balls, we picked a course and started playing. Game play moved along smoothly. There were some holes that needed to be slightly repaired, but overall, the course which has been there for years is in fairly decent condition. After we finished, we went in to order food. We ordered a half and half pizza, 2 pretzels with cheese and a pitcher of Pepsi. The pitcher of Pepsi was the only thing decent with our order. And there was ANOTHER sign about being kind to their employees. Our pizza took about 15 minutes to be brought out, and they forgot our pretzels when they brought the pizza to us. My husband went to the front counter to get the forgotten pretzels, and was mostly ignored while standing there. When I opened the box to our pizza, I saw a rather large piece of fuzz on it. I went to remove it, and there was a long hair attached to the fuzz. I was disgusted! My husband had brought the pretzels back, and took the pizza back up and they said it would be about 20 minutes for a new pizza to be cooked. While he was up there, my son and I started eating our pretzel, they were both cold. So back up to the front counter we went. I said to cancel the pizza, and gave them back the cold pretzel and asked for a refund. There was some confusion with how to do that, so a manager was called over. We were told they couldn't refund pretzels and pizza, so they would just give us new pretzels and refund the pizza. The pretzels they gave us were still cold! We left, terribly disappointed with how the day had turned out. While I wasn't rude to the employees, I can understand how some other people might be a little more vocal with their feelings. It's easy to see why someone "yelled" at employees there. They're teenage kids that don't care about the type of job they're doing. What a shame, this place used to be a fun place to go as a family. Now it's nothing more than a hangout and social hour for teenagers who should be working. There are other places in the area that offer putt-putt and snacks, I will be going there next time.

My son's birthday occurred during our annual summer trip to Grandma's house in Ohio. He was not too pleased as none of his buddies are around. We found a few places to prevent a full rebellion from him and his sister. This place met his requirements. We bought the Karts plus pass online. Certainly got our monies worth. I am certain if my son rated this place it would be a four or five. But since I am the rater I am giving it a 3. The kids had fun but mom and dad were a little bored. Taylor's in the bar took pretty good care of us adults.

Don't waste your money on the putt putt course if it rains the day before. Half the holes were either under water or muddy. We couldn't play half the holes because of the muddy turf. Pieces of turf were missing. The plates at the front of the holes were loose and/or had nails coming out. The Arcade was still a good place to play but don't do the putt putt course unless it's been dry for a few days beforehand. They need to put some money into their putt putt courses and update their painting and repair work on the courses.

To Whom It May Concern;
As the owner & President of Swings-N-Things Fun Park, I want to sincerely apologize for the condition you found one of our miniature golf courses recently. As you probably are aware, we have received an immense amount of rain this spring, particularly in the last week or so. As luck would have it, the recent rains came within several days after we had completed planting hundreds of flowers, adding topsoil & mulch. Our back course’s (Lighthouse Course) lower pond flooded, despite having pumps to handle such situations. As you experienced, all of this new material washed onto the lower level greens & actually caused several sections of turf to be pulled loose making the situation even worse. We closed this course after this occurred and somehow there was an apparent miscommunication with our staff working at the golf window for several hours who permitted some guests to use this course – this shouldn’t have happened but it did and I apologize.
We built SNT 32 years ago and this was only the 2nd time we have experienced such a bad situation. It is not uncommon to have standing water on our greens after a rainstorm & occasionally after a torrential rain storm our pond will slightly overflow it’s banks. This is typically a short-lived situation which can be corrected within about 30 minutes. The almost daily rain throughout much of May causing the ground to be totally saturated, combined with the recent torrential periods created the “perfect storm.” We have closed the Lighthouse Course for several days to thoroughly clean-up the mess created with the flooding. We plan to re-open the course by Friday (June 7th) evening and we expect it to be back in excellent condition. Additionally, we will be installing additional drain tile on the lower level and several other additions that hopefully will prevent such a situation from occurring again.
In regard to the painting on the golf courses, unfortunately the unending rain has delayed much of our regular spring maintenance throughout the park, which includes painting. Our Maintenance Dept. plans, weather-permitting, to be painting daily beginning Monday, June 10th. We are a family-owned and operated business who take great pride in our park and the experience our guests have while at Swings-N-Things. We take comments like yours very seriously. At times, much to our chagrin, Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate. Please give me a call if you would like to discuss this with me personally. Again, I apologize.

This is a great spot for kids parties, not for little babies. The face painter was not experienced with drawing at all. Black clouds under a rainbow? smh

Thank you for the positive review, Birthdays are special events that only come once in a year! We find it very important to make these events memorable and fun! One of the highlights of our Birthday Blast Party Package is the activity choice of either Balloon Animals or Face Painting, which is a great option for younger guests. Our hosts and hostess do limit both activities to simpler designs in order to ensure that every guest gets to participate during the allotted area time.

We were delayed entrance because a private event .was winding down. Upon entering one of the rides near the front was not working. This set a negative initial tone but things got better as we experienced the games and especially the miniature golf courses. They were fun! The water ride was enjoyable too.
