Living nearby I have excellent access to this trail and walk it regularly (had to fill in below where it asked when I was there but I do go regularly.) Nonetheless I never get tired of walking or running it. It is a great walk to free your mind, heart and spirit. Not too long and easily walk-able in short time . . . like 15 minutes! It is forested and dear walk around out in the open (occasionally.) The only drawback are the Canadian Geese which I never liked because they can get aggressive towards kids but no other drawbacks. The Pond is rich in minerals and growing better yearly. Also it is usually pretty low volume so one can be alone to think, write, read or just relax and get mellow . . . when not walking or running!

Walking trails are easy and short that circle the ponds and forest. Plenty of fish, birds, deer, flowers, etc. ADA friendly.
Great educational programs for youth.
Nature center has educational material, some animals, large rental facility which is GREAT for parties, receptions, etc.
Clean and modern bathrooms.

I love this spot to get out and walk the trails. It’s very relaxing and when it’s hit out you can always stop in the lodge to cool off. We often see deer coming out if the woods. There are some rocking chairs on the porch to sit and enjoy the sunset or just relax.

We were visiting the area, and looking for a nice place for a nature stroll, so I checked TripAdvisor for info. We were so happy to find W W Knight Preserve! It is fully handicapped accessible, with wide paved and gravel paths and accessible restrooms inside the building. It’s a really lovely and peaceful place. There are little shelters available for family fishing, too. What a gem!

The knights donated this land years ago and since I live next to it I can tell you it is very popular, the open space is amazing, great place for a long walk.

I am fortunate to live within walking distance to WWKnight and go there on a regular basis to walk my dog. The grounds are so peaceful and beautiful. Canoeing is even offered on Monday evenings in the summer. I have also rented the lodge for many events from family showers to business conferences. There is ample parking and the kitchen facilities are great. I would highly recommend visiting this best kept secret off of Route 65 in Perrysburg. You won’t be disappointed.

Our organization recently became aware of the ability to reserve and use the conference/meeting room here. It was a very smooth process and the facility was top notch. There were tables and chairs, a sound system and large screen. A small kitchenette also helped with serving our light meal which was brought in. We served around 40 people, but there would be room for more. The room was clean with plenty of natural lighting and shades to control glare.

No camping, its very tiny ...a small walking trail thats about it. two small ponds, large parking lot little shelterhouse.
