They've come a long way from their start!

We revisited Crooked Handle now that they are serving food. The brewery is in a shopping center south of Dayton where parking is ample. Friendly servers greeted us as soon as we seated ourselves. The atmosphere is pleasant with a few shiny tanks in the middle of the seating area, mostly high tops. There were families with small children all the way up to seniors. An outside patio allowed dogs. Adult daughter made a comment about what she thought their target audience was by the music they were playing - 80's.
Beers were very good. One of us said the Trinity Haze, a NEIPA, was the best hazy IPA that he ever had. We all enjoyed our food - Crispy cauliflower, reuben with tots, 3- cheese grilled on sourdough w/ beer cheese soup and a bacon, lettuce, and fried green tomato sandwich.
We will be back.

Good beer, good food, great staff

This place has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. We had the pretzel with beer cheese, beer, and a cocktail. It was all great! Our waitress was attentive and kind. However, it’s confusing when you walk in and there’s no sign to seat you or wait to be seated, and it’s very loud, but it could be worse. Overall, we are looking forward to returning

Favorite place in Springboro!

Amazing service- every single staff person is extremely friendly and helpful. They’re wonderful to our 3 yr old and just good people! The food is amazing - love their nachos and cauliflower apps. The beers are good- hubby loves the trinity haze ipa and I prefer the PB porter or if it’s the season the Christmas ale. Great atmosphere and amazing local place! Wish they had a bigger space for more seating

Disappointed

We walked in and found an open table because there was no staff to seat us. We sat at this small table for 10 minutes. No one came to take our order or even knew we were there. We left. Thumbs down.

This is a great little brewery that is right next to Dorothy Lane Market. They have many beers on tap and the food is delicious.

We had We had a server who assisted us with the QR code per the pandemic. We placed an order for appetizers and drinks. Drinks and appetizers were delivered and we placed an order for our meal. 5 to 10 minutes after we place our meal order the server returns with the owner who explains to us that they don't have 80% of what we ordered which was pork, pulled pork. We were kind of shocked because we would have thought that the server would have told us that before we place the order that they had no pulled pork available. We asked to speak to the manager. The manager has zero customer service skills, she begins to blame shortage of chicken wings and ketchup and lack of kitchen help, which of none of them have anything to do with the shortage of pork. Attention owner. Your problem is not my problem. I didn't want to free meal but I thought you should at least recognize the fact that you were short on something and better inform your employees of what's going on in the kitchen. Not that hard figure it out

My favorite place in town! Love the owners and the staff. Very welcoming environment and the best beers anywhere. And now that they’ve added a creative cocktail menu, there is something for everyone.

Homegrown, down-to-earth, great setting, good music ..oh yeah ..and amazingly good beers. Something for everyone here- this is the way to do a local brew house!

Very clean and an inviting atmosphere. Bartender was very helpful in recommending beers and providing samples. I like dark beers and settled on a growler of the peanut butter stout. Will definitely return and try other varieties.

Great brews & dog friendly!

We tried 8 different beers & liked them all. The peanut butter porter & pumpkin ale were are absolute favorites here! We sat on the patio with our 3 dogs & were offered water for them. Inside was cool & comfortable. We highly recommend this place!
