The campsites are small but quiet where we were. The beach is beautiful, especially at low tide. Services are good. The beach is free if you are camping as well. No pets on the beach.

Camping très tranquille et très propre, la plage est magnifique. Les sentiers de randonnées vraiment très beaux points de vue sur le bord du littoral. Les sentiers intérieurs de la côte dans les tourbières sont par contre glissants, en boue et assurez vous d’avoir d’autres souliers. La boucle complète nous a pris 1:45 avec plusieurs arrêts pour profiter du paysage. Nous reviendrons!

Located in beautiful Charlotte County, New Brunswick. Great facilities, excellent scenery and trails and cool, refreshing waters.

We love New River Beach. Our kids enjoy playing in the sand and swimming. It can become a popular destination during the summer months but no problem finding a place to set up beach chairs etc. There was quite a bit of seaweed covering the beach which surprised me. I don't remember it being like that last time we were there a few years ago. Would make a big difference if they'd rake the beach occasionally to clean it up a bit. I have no problem paying to enjoy the park for a day but many people still opt to parking on the road to save $10.

The perfect place to spend a day of fun at the beach. Lots of space for everyone to play on the sand or in the water. There is grass and picnic areas as well as bathrooms and change rooms.

Very nice park right on the Bay of Fundy!! Nice private sites with ample room to set up dining or bug tents! (We were in #45). Lots to see and do in the area. Only catch is the beach is across the road but well worth the walk over! Cute little restaurant with dine in or take out too!! Definite stop on your down east trip!!

A local recommended this place as a nice stop on our way from Saint John to St. Andrew's. We came in the morning at low tide and it was almost empty and so peaceful and beautiful. The beach was clean and well maintained. It was too cold to swim, but there are a change room and bathroom facilities if you want to swim. There is also a full service restaurant by the parking lot with a large patio. It's too bad they charge for parking, as we only wanted to walk around for about an hour, but we understand that the fees go towards maintenance of the beach so we were okay with it.

We visited two years ago and the beach was pristine and beautiful. This time, it was dirty and unkempt. Rules regarding no dogs were ignored, as were one-way directions for safe distancing. Very disappointed this time around. And they still charge $10 to get in.

We visited in July 2018 actually, on a cloudy, slightly cool and mildly windy day the fog that surrounded the beach made it a very ethereal experience. We were there at low tide and there were not too many people on the beach that day. It was a very wide, long beautiful area we tried to look for Sandollar‘s but couldn’t find any, the local restaurant told us that the week prior there were a whole bunch of people looking for Sandollars and probably took them all. I wish we had more time there ...in all, a great beach.

A great little provincial park with a sandy beach. Beaches with sand like this are rare in this neck of the world. This park offers picnic spaces as well as the beach to relax on.
