We enjoyed a wonderful tasting with friends. We were not charged for the tasting and the samples were sufficient to give us a good taste; we enjoyed everything we tried. We left with 6 bottle of wine; it was hard to pick our favorites.

Enjoyed the immaculate guesthouse and fun wines for a girls weekend. Great porch to sip wine and eat local cheeses while viewing the vines. Good location for the wine trail and visiting Amish towns.

I have been here twice, once on a girlfiends weekend and then with my husband on Valentines trip. Both visits were great! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. They own 2 adorable Great Pyrenees who made our visit so much more enjoyable! And the wine.....well, I bought 5 bottles this latest trip! Delicious and reasonably priced. I will return each time we are in the area.

This is a smaller winery off the beaten path. The owner is extra friendly! The place is clean and offers wine sampling and purchasing. There is even a guest house if you book way ahead. Definitely check it out of in the area! No food offered here.

Bought 3 bottles of wine after tasting several. Parking lot was full! Nice patio out back to enjoy your wine. The b n b we stayed at serves a 4 course dinner you can purchase and they will chill and serve your wine. Beautiful setting and friendly staff.

why go to CA when you have a great winery and scenic view right here in Ohio - also has a guest house that you can stay overnight

My husband and I spent Valentine's weekend at a nearby B&B, and decided to visit a local distillery (for him) and this winery (for me). Despite being slightly distracted by a crowd of people enjoying a bridal shower, the owner cheerfully offered us a full range to taste. They have something for everyone - more than one option from dry to very sweet, and several fruit wines which are especially popular in Ohio. We walked away with a few bottles, and enjoyed one that evening with our meal at the B&B.

We heard about Heritage Vineyard via the Smithsonian which reported on a survey that rated it TOPS! Off the beaten track, we got routed through a woods at one point, but found the building. We were rewarded by tasting some really lovely wines, and bought several bottles. Unusual grapes - we'd never tasted Chambourcin but it was a true winner. Very helpful staff answered lots of questions. There's a guesthouse nearby, too - although we didn't check it out. Next time we're near, we will definitely go back!

This was our first visit to this winery. We were on our way to stay at French Ridge Vineyards. The two wineries have a treaty together. If one stays at the other it's free wine tasting at each of the wineries. The owner said the winery had been opened for maybe 8 years. The wine was good. I liked the dry reds. We purchased 1/2 case of wine. I offered a tip and she declined and said just come back again.
This place has a pleasant wine owner. They also have a cottage if you're seeking a place to stay at while in the area.
Recommend going here. Love it.

We chose the Heritage Guesthouse for our "sisters weekend." The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It began with a wine tasting and we were pleasantly surprised by the wines. Each of us ended up buying a bottle, and we all chose a different favorite.
The guest house was charming and provided everything we needed, even delicious baked goods. No detail had been overlooked!
The surroundings were picturesque and peaceful. Two of us are chronic insomniacs and the second night both of us said we had the best night's sleep we'd had in a long time. We think our spouses would have enjoyed it also, so we plan on return visit with them.
