The members I met did not seem interested in sharing information on the history of their facility or engines.
When asked direct questions, they did not answer and changed the topic of discussion.
Perhaps it was a bad day, maybe it was just the members I met, or perhaps they just were ignorant to the history and future plans, but it seemed they were grumpy and not happy… very opposite from other places I have visited where the members are excited to be sharing info and history to someone who is interested.
Lake Shore Railway Association may be good if you are only interested in wine and you are not a railfan.
If you are a railfan, it may be best to go elsewhere.
