Kara Lynn's is now going out of business so you may be able to find some bargains if you are passing through West Liberty. There is still another gift shop (country/primitives mostly) and the MCC thrift store across the street for shopaholics to get their fix.

My wife and I elected to replace an older wood deck with a much larger, composite deck, and today we leave the project to the construction crew.
Today my wife and I are visiting the shops, bakeries, and restaurants of Urbana and West Liberty.
The clerks are very pleasant and friendly; we note that friendly and pleasant are attributes of nearly all folks whom we encounter today.
Kara Lynn's and the other Western Ohio business, which we visit are profiting from the several tripadvisor reviews.
Kara Lynn’s is very well organized and offers a truly unique gift collection.
We highly recommend a visit to Kara Lynn’s.

Great candles, and full of nice gifts to purchase for people that are hard to shop for! Most everything is reasonably priced, and the store has a very nice vibe about it.

Kara Lynn's has a very unassuming store front on Detroit Street (hwy 68) in downtown West Liberty. In fact, I would never have even gone in if I hadn't read about if from the other tripadvisor reviews first. Even after entering, it seems as though there is only one room of merchandise until you venture to the back and take a left through what looks like a closet door into the rest of the shop, including a clearance section. My son and i had to wait while my wife sniffed literally hundreds of candles before making a purchase. Candles can be refilled for $12 a quart, $7 a pint, or $4 for a half pint or smaller. There are lots of signs with humorous sayings, and other kitsch but I thought most of it was overpriced.

Very neat place for a small town a lot of beat candles for family's to your church it has lots of neat things for gifts as well it is tough parking she is very friendly don't forget your candle list for 2015 have fun

More of a specialty store for candles, decorative accents, etc. Shoppe is small but rather long. One needs to check out back room for some bargains. If you are in the area stop by but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Kara Lynn's is known for it's candles, but it has so much more! I love smelling all of the amazing candle scents, but there are gifts, home decor, antiques, jewelry, scarves and more. It is a must stop while in West Liberty.
