Great place with great day time bartender's who treat their as friends and not just customers. Food has been always good/great with Bill and Bonnie overseeing their staff, food and service. No matter if sit at the bar or a table you will be treated professionally.

It was awhile ago that we went here, but I would never go back. A very dark and dingy place, and the food is nothing to write home about.

We always stop by for some wings and fries and the occasional burger. Food is always good and hot. Wing night was great to sample different flavors we haven't tried before.

You want wings? Then Mitchell's Tavern is the place to be. They're crispy, chicken is not overdone and the flavors you can choose are a treat for your mouth! Personal favorite: garlic parmesean wings. Check out their website for wing specials. And if you like volleyball, they've got sand courts in their backyard and popular sports on the TVs all around. Let's be real ~ it's a tavern, and that means sticky floors, salty popcorn, friendly servers and an occasional smelly barfly sitting next to you. You don't come for the 5 star dining experience. But you should definitely come for the wings!

Mitchell's is great on the pocketbook & offers above average bar food.
My favorite food is the THIN crust pizza! They offer daily specials, my favorite is Taco Tuesday, not your average tacos!
Mitchell's is safe for teenagers and little ones too. Outback they have volleyball. Courts for spring/summer leagues.
The servers are exceptional!!😀
I recommend this place for where the locals go & on a beer budget too.

place isn't very clean,if u sit by the bar u smell sewer gas, yikes! the foods is average the place need updating.

....but I go there frequently. Food is very good, much better than average bar food. I typically sit at the bar, friendly service, although can be a little slow sometimes. Mary, the bartender, has a following and she is nice to everyone. Cheap drafts and drinks. I have never been there for dinner, lunch only, and meet friends there at least once a month. Don't know how old the house is but I am thinking WW II vintage.

I heard about their french dip on some morning radio talk show, that they had the best. I took my hubby there and YUM, they got it right. The roast beef is juicy and flavorful, the au jus is the perfect combo of au and jus. The fries are fresh cut as well. You really won't be disappointed. Don't be fooled by the decor, looks like my great grandpas basement, but the food is really good.
