Just down the road from Simple Pleasures Bed & Breakfast, the Petersheim Family will graciously welcome you to their farm and basket shop. Baskets, hand-made, are one-of-a-kind, every one beautiful, versatile, and with the address of the farm and the name and age of the family member who made it printed on the bottom. The baskets I am enjoying as I write include an exquisite heart shaped lazy Susan made by Fannie, age 7, who, along with her mother, welcomed me as I visited and a peanut shaped one with handle made by her brother, Uria, age 19.
