Hiking,bird watching,or just strolling through the woods

Very nice place with well manicured trails,Great place for a picnic.Has many trails even a handicap trail just opened this summer.

Beautiful park, well defined, marked and groomed trails, great family outing

Nice park, with bathrooms. Trails are not too technical or difficult, I would rate them easy. Well groomed and maintained, several distance options to choose from, none more then 3.5 miles. Beautiful mix of hardwood and softwood, upland and some water. A small oasis just a short drive form downtown.

Beautiful park

This park has many well-marked paths in a beautiful wooded area. I highly recommend this park for casual hikers.

Always a great place to get away. Beautiful year around with it's changing seasons. If you like to hike and enjoy the outdoors, go to the park. Challenging hills, fun stream crossings, well maintained trails.

Relaxing and refreshing

Just a wonderful place to relax and stroll through gorgeous surroundings. Beautiful plants and trees make this an oasis in a small country town.

Surprisingly beautiful trails

This is a great park. Beautiful trails w/lots of interesting species. Forge the river, trek the hills and look at the ancient gorge. A gem.

Hidden Gem

Whether you want to do a 1/2 mile walk or 10 mile hike, this is the place in Ohio. There are a number of trails you can link together to make a unique hike. Lots of elevation changes, lovely streams and interesting scenery/wildlife. I have spent many hours here both alone and with the family. This was my winter training ground in preparation for Kilimanjaro! I love this place. Forget Cuyahoga, Mohican or Hocking Hills...this local place will do just fine!

Take your water bottle and hiking boots

This park can be a very long hike to short jaunt, whatever you want to make it. Make sure to be familiar with the map if you are going for the long hike. There are quite a few trails and deep ravine you may have to hike out of at the end of your day. Keep a bit of energy left for that! Kids love the creek at bottom but just remember......the hike back out. You may be carrying little ones piggy-back. Lots of wildflowers in season. Lovely park

Great hike

This is one of the best hikes we've done in Ohio. The elevation changes of trillium trail and the adventure of Spangler trail left us exhausted and thrilled! It was truly beautiful with the leaves changing colors. The water in the river is crystal clear. We had so much fun crossing the river multiple times. I'll admit I slid off of rocks, twice, falling into the water a little. It was a great time.

One of Wooster's many nice parks.

Wooster Memorial Park is one of Wooster's hidden gems. You can stroll thru the fields, woods and hills on one of the many trails that run thru this park. Make sure you check out Wooster's other great parks too. Each one has something unique and interesting.
