We drove all the way from the Toledo area for their Christmas story wagon ride. The kids did an amazing job portraying the story of the birth of Jesus! We didn't read our tickets all the way so we showed up right at our ticket time, missing out wagon; however, they were very understanding and just put us on the next available. They do state they pony rides, hot coco and cookies, s'mores area, and gift shop close at 9. Some areas did close earlier when we were there. They also had cute little pine trees in the gift shop perfect for Christmas decorations on the mantle at $1.50 each you just can't pass it up! 10/10 would recommend!

Loved Marmon Valley’s Country Christmas! Made great family memories! Hayride with five mini dramas acting out the Biblical Christmas story, made Christmas tree ornaments, warmed up with hot cocoa and cookies, pony ride for the littles, pet some adorable and soft rabbits. Definitely recommend it!

I have ridden at several different facilities. Marmon Valley was by far the best! I enjoyed seeing all of the many horses. Great riding instructor. Felt very prepared after a little practice before ride. Really liked that we had two guides for a party of 10-12 can't remember exact number of people. There was one guide that continuously checked us all out. Making sure no one was having any problems.

Pre booked a Trail Ride for 11…check in was smooth, plenty of nice and organized riding helmets, leader was there waiting to help with directions. They chose horses on skill levels and accommodated us nicely. Trail leaders were kind, helpful with younger riders and trail was amazing! An overall great experience. Memories made!!

Before the trail ride they let you practice a bit on the horse. During this, a lady was fixing one of my stirrups and out of nowhere just full on hit the horse (Lucy) and said "Stop that!" I had no idea what she was doing wrong. It immediately made me uncomfortable because if they openly hit their horses, what do they do behind the scenes?
A decent amount of the horses seemed tired too. Either sleeping while waiting to be ridden or walking slow on the trail ride. Seemed over worked.
The bunny's enclosures we're wayy too small. The cage that was holding about 5-10 bunnies was how much room you had to give one. They seemed miserable. There were baby bunnies as well so I assume they just use those bunnies for shows and/or breeding.
As for the treatment of other animals, I can't say as I'm not sure how much room pigs and ponies are supposed to have. But the ponies' enclosure seemed like it had no grass.
As for the ride it was quite fun. Most of the workers were super nice and helpful and it very much felt worth the money. My horse knew what she was doing and seemed well trained. The views were nice and the ride wasn't too short.
If you can overlook mistreatment of animals, I recommend this place. But I won't be coming back until they improve their conditions.

The trail ride was really nice and the younger women who were employed there were always super nice and helpful and talked with us during the trail ride. I kind of wish we had a chance to sit and see the view from on top of the hill, but the ride rarely ever stopped unless a horse was going to the bathroom or was distracted.
One thing that was concerning was that an older woman was making sure my sister's stirrups were level before we started the ride, and my sister's horse named Lucie (Lucy?) had done something. It wasn't anything dangerous or disobedient, just something simple. we weren't even sure the horse had done anything at all. But the older woman had hit Lucie and then acted like it never happened and continued to check on the saddles. I hope this isn't how they treat their horses everyday, even simple acts of aggression can lead to worse abuse, and so I hope that woman was just having a bad day or something. I know horses have thick skin, but it was very sad to see anyone hitting a completely calm and obedient horse.

Marmon Valley Farm is a great place to take children grandchildren, friends. We took our granddaughter to ride a pony, it was very safe and super affordable. We purchased a $1 bag of popcorn to feed goats, pigs, donkeys, sheep. They also offer a fantastic horse camp during the summer months as well as different holiday events. I highly recommend them!

We really had a great time at the farm. The riding trails we great, a lot of fun activities also for the kids. The greatest part was a Christian atmosphere.

We decided to go horseback riding for my husbands birthday and we are so happy we did! From the minute we arrived we were greeted with the nicest staff. The guides and ranch hands were very thorough and made sure everyone was comfortable and safe. The ride was very relaxing and peaceful. Loved all of the horses! We will definitely return in the future. Book this activity…a wonderful company right here in the state of Ohio!
