Made the short trip down from Dillon State Park for ice cream since the camp store was closed, and you can’t go camping without ice cream! So glad we came as we’ll now return often. Got burgers in addition to the ice cream, both were excellent. Love the sauce on the burgers. Huge portions of ice cream, two scoops was huge! Enjoyed the COVID friendly outdoor seating, which filled up fast. Great service. We will definitely be back.

This takes me back so much to my younger days. This Tom's Ice Cream store is so authentic and nostalgic you really need to visit. They have old fashioned food selections as well as updated versions. The ice cream is to die for! There are many selections as well as the flavor of the day. My very most favorite is the Tin Roof. If you don't know what that is, it's vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and Spanish peanuts! It is awesomely delicious!! You have to check out Tom's Ice Cream!

This place is rarely on our way but often is added to our trip. The place looks a bit sketchy. It was not crowded this trip. The food is not special. And there are other things unappealing but we come anyway because it seems authentic.
We love the choice of flavors and the huge bowls. Warning one scoop is the equivalent of two regular scoops and five gelato scoops.
We have not been disappointed with having ice cream here but don’t look too closely at cleanliness.

Gotta stop here when driving by! I am hooked on Tom's freshly roasted peanuts and cashews! Yep, they do it themselves! And make sure you get one of the largest sundaes ever too - yum.

Once again, a great experience for first timers and nostalgia for us that have been going there for years. This trip we had a couple of friends new to Toms and a couple of friends that remember the "old" days. All of us enjoyed the hamburgers, mike shakes, and ice cream Sundaes.

This restaurant is adorable, all dressed up in 50's fashion. Food is very good, and the candy and nut selection are reasonable too. Great place to visit for an ole fashion milkshake and burger and fries!

Stopped in and had a great lunch. If you are in the area it's a must stop in. Had a hamburger and a hot fudge brownie sunday. However I'm sure any choice would be a good one.

I was driving on I-70 after working in West Virginia. I approached State St. in Zanesville and opted to stop for a sandwich and peanuts to take with me (the best peanut place in Ohio!!!!!) Just as I expected... perfect!!! Good waitress, cheap, and the best nuts!!!!!!!

I have been eating at Tom's Ice Cream Bowl for more than 50 years. It is part of Zanesville's history. My father went there when he was in high school. It's not been updated that I recall. Jukebox and small little tables fill the block room.
They make their own ice cream and have many flavors of sundae's, ice cream, and several varieties of banana splits. They have great warm roasted nuts, sandwiches and candies.
I always get the "3D" banana split with whole peanuts.. It's 3 dips of strawberry ice cream covered by marshmallow topping. I get it in place of a meal since your there has to be a very hungry person to eat this much ice cream. It melts very fast (which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars).
