Main Street USA (old Route 66) runs through downtown Bethany, Okla on the western side of Oklahoma City with several diverse and good quality antique sites across from Southern Nazarene University,founded in 1899. Additional stores and cafes offer good food including Cafe39, the Stray Dog & the Boomerang. West of Bethany's Council Rd & Rt. 66 is the old steel bridge Steinbeck referenced as the burial place for Grandpa Jobe in the American epic, Grapes of Wrath,located on the north end of Lake Overholser. Recent developments include fine jogging and biking trails around the lake and east to OKC's primary water venue, Lake Hefner, known for sailing, boating, wind surfing and kiting. Don't miss these parts of Okljahoma City's surrounding venues.

This was a return visit to Bethany Antique Mall. There was no one besides the proprietors the day we were there. Bethany is a medium sized mall, and we can usually find something there. The first thing we noticed were that the prices seemed significantly higher than on our last visit. We also failed to find anything to buy which is a first at this location. My asked to use the restroom (Marked employees only) and declared it minimally acceptable. Maybe why the employee sign is now up. We previously liked Bethany Antique Mall and were chagrined at what we perceived as a decline.

This is about Bethany, Oklahoma. After finding out that Bricktown is an "entertainment district" we signed onto Tripadvisor and found out that there is a town within Oklahoma City that is known as Bethany, Ok which is on the historic Route 66. We drove over there after finding Bricktown dead on a Wednesday morning and discovered a neat little block of antique shops/malls and had a wonderful morning. We shopped the block and enjoyed it very much -- a great Pizza parlor for lunch -- and had a great morning.

I love to go antiquing, even if not to purchase, to admire all the awesome things from our past. This mall has lots of vendors and so much to look at! I have purchased many things from here as well, they have many quirky items I like to collect. If you are into vintage or antiques, this is the place to go.

Bethany Antique Mall has an amazing assortment of furniture, jewelry, paintings, and other collectibles. The owner, Diana Hamby, has a good sense of style and quality which keeps the store fresh and interesting. There are some great buys here!

We have made multiple purchases from here, some involving one-of-a-kind finds. We purchased a clear glass serving bowl that exactly matches our daughter's set of collectible salad bowls. We'd never found it anywhere else! Everything from furniture to jewelry found here!

This is a neat place to visit, they have a lot of old things, new mixed in with not so new stuff. If you are a collector, you really need to go through this store, you will probably find something you can't live without. I have found a number of things that I really treasure in this store, and right now I have seen a couple of things I will be going back to by. The prices are reasonable, and the people who work there are vary friendly and helpful.

Although I'm not an antique collector, I have purchased unique teeshirts, jewelry, formalwear, and other items that always draw attention and compliments. Diana and her staff know their quality and how to price it attractively. Plan to spend time browsing and finding treasures. You'll come back regularly.
